Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

Today we spotlight Plainview-Elgin-Millville’s Elias Walch delivered a dominant outing on the mound this week, spinning a complete game no-hitter against Lewiston-Altura. The right-hander punched out 16 on the night, allowing just three walks in a overpowering performance from start to finish.
