Mizuno Player & Pitcher of the Week: Week 7

Each week during the high school season, we will recognize the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for standout performances across the state. Throughout the season, numerous athletes continue to post impressive numbers both at the plate and on the mound. Based on nominations submitted by high school coaches statewide, one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week will be selected. A special thank you to Mizuno for sponsoring these awards throughout the season.

MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Easton Housewright SS / 2B / Grace Christian Academy, TN / 2029

MIF Easton Housewright (Grace Christian Academy, 2029) In three games, Housewright turned in a dominant performance at the plate, hitting .727 with a .769 OBP and a 2.406 OPS. Collected eight hits, including one double and three home runs, while driving in six runs.

MIZUNO PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Weston Willeford RHP / 1B / Christ Presbyterian Academy, TN / 2026

RHP Weston Willeford (Christ Presbyterian Academy, 2026) the Lipscomb recruit tossed a no-hitter against Pope, going seven innings with no hits allowed, five strikeouts, and one walk.
