Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (5) vs. Thompson (2)
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa picked up a 5-2 win over Thompson on Tuesday, using early offense to set the tone. The Patriots struck first in the opening inning and capitalized on mistakes to build a 3-0 lead in the second. They continued to add on in the third and maintained control throughout. AC Patton led the offense with two RBIs and a multi-hit performance, while Brooks Fowlkes also added multiple hits as Hillcrest totaled nine hits on the day. Wyatt Garner earned the win, allowing two runs over 4.2 innings, and Peyton Rackard closed it out in relief to secure the save.
 
Hewitt-Trussville (8) vs. Hoover (3)
Hewitt-Trussville rallied past Hoover 8-3 on Tuesday, using a big fifth inning to take control. Hoover built a 3-0 lead through three innings, but the Huskies answered in a major way in the fifth, erupting for six runs to flip the game. Hudson Mitchell delivered the biggest swing of the inning with a bases-clearing double. Mitchell led the way with four RBIs and a multi-hit performance, while Jace Riggan also added multiple hits as Hewitt-Trussville capitalized on its opportunities. On the mound, Mitchell earned the win with five innings of work, and Rylan Clark provided two scoreless innings in relief to secure the victory.
 
Tuscaloosa County (7) vs. Prattville (5)
Tuscaloosa County jumped out early and held off a late push from Prattville to secure a 7-5 win on Tuesday. The Wildcats erupted for five runs in the first inning, stringing together multiple hits to build an early cushion that proved to be the difference. Tate Pettus earned the win with six strong innings, allowing three runs while striking out eight, and Gibbs White closed it out to earn the save. Tuscaloosa County got contributions throughout the lineup, with five different players driving in runs. Prattville made things interesting late behind an 11-hit effort, but couldn’t complete the comeback.
