Region 1

#1 Choctawhatchee vs. #8 Baker County Choctawhatchee has been one of the premier programs in the Panhandle all season and gets a manageable first-round draw. Baker County is scrappy but outmatched here in terms of overall talent and depth. The Indians take care of business and move on.

#4 Arnold vs. #5 St. Augustine Arnold earns the slight edge in what projects to be a competitive first-round game. They've shown a knack for winning tight games this season, and that experience serves them well here. Arnold advances.

Regional Semifinal: Choctawhatchee over Arnold Arnold made it interesting against St. Augustine, but stepping up to face the region's top seed is a different challenge entirely. Choctawhatchee's pitching staff has been one of the best in the region all year, and they shut this one down.

#2 Bishop Kenny vs. #7 Escambia Bishop Kenny is one of the more dangerous programs in this region, a team that doesn't beat themselves and makes opponents earn every run. Escambia doesn't have the horses to keep pace. The Crusaders advance.

#3 Clay vs. #6 Wakulla Clay has been solid all season and gets a winnable first-round matchup. Their lineup has enough balance to handle Wakulla on both sides of the ball. Clay moves on.

Regional Semifinal: Bishop Kenny over Clay This one has the makings of the best series in Region 1. Both programs are built similarly, which makes Bishop Kenny's edge in overall talent the deciding factor. The Crusaders punch through to the regional final.

Regional Final: Bishop Kenny over Choctawhatchee Choctawhatchee has every reason to feel confident heading into this matchup as the top seed, but Bishop Kenny is a program that thrives in exactly these environments. The Crusaders' pitching depth and ability to manufacture runs in tight games makes them dangerous against anyone. Bishop Kenny pulls off the regional upset and books their trip to the state semifinal.

Region 2

#1 Bishop Moore vs. #8 Hudson Bishop Moore is the clear class of Region 2 and has looked like a legitimate state title contender at various points this season. Hudson simply doesn't match up. The Hornets roll.

#4 Lake Wales vs. #5 Mount Dora Lake Wales gets the nod here. They've been more consistent when the schedule stiffened up, and their pitching gives them a meaningful edge in a one-game format. Lake Wales advances.

Regional Semifinal: Bishop Moore over Lake Wales Bishop Moore is playing on a different level than Lake Wales. Hornets look sharp heading into the regional final.

#2 Eustis vs. #7 Weeki Wachee Eustis has quietly put together one of the more impressive seasons in Region 2 and handles Weeki Wachee.

#3 Vanguard vs. #6 Hardee Vanguard has the edge across the board here. Their pitching staff is deeper and their lineup has proven capable of putting up runs against quality arms. Vanguard advances.

Regional Semifinal: Eustis over Vanguard A quality Central Florida matchup with legitimate postseason implications on both sides. Eustis' overall depth and the way their rotation sets up for a short series gives them just enough of an edge. The Blue Devils advance to meet Bishop Moore.

Regional Final: Bishop Moore over Eustis Bishop Moore has been the best team in Region 2 wire to wire, and this regional final is where that shows up most clearly. Eustis will make them work, but the Hornets' talent advantage proves to be the deciding factor. Bishop Moore heads to the state semifinal.

Region 3

#1 Jesuit vs. #8 Lemon Bay Jesuit is one of the most storied programs in Florida and enters the postseason looking every bit like a team with state championship aspirations. The Tigers advance.

#4 Barron Collier vs. #5 Seminole Barron Collier gets the edge here based on a more complete body of work. They've beaten better competition and their pitching holds up in pressure situations. Barron Collier advances.

Regional Semifinal: Jesuit over Barron Collier Jesuit is operating at a level above everyone else in Region 3. Barron Collier is no pushover, but the Tigers have the kind of pitching built for a best-of-three format. Jesuit moves on.

#2 Island Coast vs. #7 Countryside Island Coast has been one of the steadier programs in Southwest Florida this season and takes care of business against Countryside.

#3 Osceola vs. #6 Port Charlotte Osceola has the talent to make a postseason run and gets a favorable first-round draw. They handle Port Charlotte to move on.

Regional Semifinal: Island Coast over Osceola Island Coast's overall consistency and depth give them the edge in a competitive matchup. The Gators advance to the regional final, where they run into a different kind of challenge.

Regional Final: Jesuit over Island Coast Island Coast has done everything right to reach this point, but Jesuit is a program that has been preparing for moments like this all season. The Tigers' pitching rotation is as deep as anyone in 4A, and their lineup has the kind of top-to-bottom quality that wears teams down. Jesuit advances to the state semifinal and arrives as one of the favorites to win it all.

Region 4

#1 Merritt Island vs. #8 Jensen Beach Merritt Island has been one of the more well-rounded programs in Region 4 all season and handles Jensen Beach in comfortable fashion. The Mustangs move on.

#4 American Heritage vs. #5 Eau Gallie American Heritage is the pick here. They bring a loaded roster into the postseason and Eau Gallie hasn't faced competition at this level consistently enough to match up. American Heritage advances.

Regional Semifinal: American Heritage over Merritt Island This is the signature upset call in Region 4. American Heritage has the talent to beat anyone on any given day, and Merritt Island hasn't been battle-tested enough to withstand what the Patriots bring. American Heritage advances to the regional final.

#2 Key West vs. #7 Satellite Key West is a program that always seems to find a way in the postseason, and they handle Satellite without much drama. The Conchs move on.

#3 Belen Jesuit vs. #6 Somerset Academy Belen Jesuit has the deeper roster and the more impressive résumé heading into this matchup. They handle Somerset Academy and advance.

Regional Semifinal: Key West over Belen Jesuit Key West's tournament toughness and familiarity with high-leverage situations gives them the edge in a competitive South Florida matchup. The Conchs advance to the regional final.

Regional Final: American Heritage over Key West Two programs that know how to win in the postseason meet in a regional final that has the potential to be the best series of the 4A bracket. Key West will make this competitive, but American Heritage's overall talent and lineup depth prove to be the difference. The Patriots advance to the state semifinal.

State Semifinals

Bishop Moore vs. Bishop Kenny Bishop Kenny got here by knocking off the Region 1 top seed, and they carry that momentum into this matchup. But Bishop Moore has been the most complete team in Region 2 all season, and their star power proves to be the difference. The Hornets advance to the state final.

Jesuit vs. American Heritage Jesuit arrives as the clear favorite and has looked dominant throughout the bracket. American Heritage has the pitching to keep this close, but the Tigers' pitching staff is a different challenge than anything the Patriots have seen. Jesuit controls this game from the start and advances to the state championship.

State Championship Prediction: Jesuit over Bishop Moore

The Tigers have been the most impressive team in the 4A field and arrive at the state championship as the deserving favorite. Their pitching staff is as deep and as talented as any in the country, their lineup can put up crooked numbers in a hurry, and their program culture is built around performing when the stakes are highest.

Bishop Moore has earned every step of this run and won't be intimidated by the moment, but Jesuit is simply the better team. When you combine their pitching depth with a lineup that can beat you in multiple ways, you have the makings of a state champion.

Jesuit wins the 2026 FHSAA 4A State Championship.
