NOTABLE RECAPS FROM WEDNESDAY
#11 Skyridge (5) vs. #4 Lone Peak (4)
The Skyridge Falcons outlasted the Lone Peak Knights in a classic Region 3 tug-of-war, securing a gritty 5–4 victory that came down to the final frame. Skyridge’s offense was paced by the speed and situational hitting of Miles Robinson, who swiped two bags and drove in a pair of runs, while Ripken Roberts set the table effectively with two hits and two runs scored. Lone Peak nearly spoiled the afternoon behind a powerful two-run home run from Kingston Stroshine and a consistent multi-hit effort from Bo Barnes, but the Knights struggled to find the knockout blow against the Falcons' bullpen. After a solid start from Nathan Whitehead, Tate Young entered to provide two frames of stability, earning the win as Skyridge capitalized on timely hitting from Brady Lowe to edge past their rivals in a contest that saw the teams combine for 20 total hits.

#15 Corner Canyon (7) vs. #19 Jordan (8)
The Jordan Beetdiggers outlasted the Corner Canyon Chargers in a grueling 10-inning marathon, securing a dramatic 8–7 victory to take Game 2 of the series over their rivals. In a game that saw both teams combine for 26 hits, the difference proved to be the elite relief work from the Beetdiggers' staff. After a high-scoring opening, Caden Capener provided 5.1 innings of scoreless middle relief to stabilize the game, allowing Kade Carter to shine as the ultimate dual-threat. Carter racked up three hits and three runs scored at the plate before taking the mound for the final three frames, surrendering just one hit and fanning three to earn the win. Corner Canyon countered with a powerful offensive display, highlighted by Krew Thorn, who finished a perfect 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, but the Chargers were unable to find the final equalizer in the extra frames as Carter slammed the door.

Orem (9) vs. #5 Timpanogos (3)
The Orem Tigers displayed offensive depth and defensive efficiency to secure a convincing 9–3 victory over the Timpanogos Timberwolves. Orem’s lineup was relentless, racking up 13 hits with Chase Ford providing the early fireworks via a two-run home run. While the Tigers found production up and down the order—including multi-hit games from Benji Engemann, Anthony DeMaria, and Mac Christiansen—starter Beckett Hendry was the definitive anchor on the mound. Hendry tossed five masterful innings, allowing zero earned runs and striking out four to earn the win. Timpanogos found a bright spot in Cooper Hawkes, who finished with a home run and a double, but four defensive errors and a struggle to capitalize on five walks prevented the Timberwolves from keeping pace with the Tigers' high-powered attack.

Crimson Cliffs (4) vs. #3 Snow Canyon (3)
In a high-stakes Region 9 clash, the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs leaned on a dominant complete-game performance from Tyler Ransom to edge out the Snow Canyon Warriors in a 4–3 thriller. Ransom was the definition of a workhorse on the mound, carving through the Warriors' lineup with 12 strikeouts while allowing only three runs across seven full frames. Despite Kade Kelsch launching a solo home run for Snow Canyon and Trent Chris delivering a gritty nine-strikeout outing of his own, the Mustangs’ aggressive base-running proved to be the deciding factor. Crimson Cliffs swiped four bags and utilized timely multi-hit afternoons from Ricardo Navarro and Rayce Bennett to manufacture their scoring. This victory allowed the Mustangs to salvage a split in the critical two-game series and provide a significant boost to their standing in the highly competitive southern Utah classification.
