Palo Verde 4, Sierra Vista 2
Palo Verde utilized a late-inning surge and a clinical complete-game performance on the mound to secure a 4-2 road victory over Sierra Vista on Thursday. In a tightly contested pitchers' duel, the Panthers capitalized on extra-base hits in the final frame to overcome a slim deficit.

The story of the game was sophomore Connor McDonald, who delivered a masterful 111-pitch complete game. McDonald stifled the Mountain Lions' lineup over seven innings, surrendering just four hits and two runs while striking out seven to earn the win. Offensively, sophomore Noah Knudson, Nevada's #1-ranked player in the 2028 class, sparked the late rally with two doubles and an RBI. Junior Cash Coulter and senior Luke Jefferies provided the additional insurance with key RBI base hits. Sierra Vista was led by senior Anthony Chapman, who finished 1-for-3 with an RBI double, and Nathan Mayorga, who provided five strong innings of scoreless relief.

Durango utilized clinical pitching and a patient offensive attack to secure a 4-1 road victory over Bonanza on Wednesday. The Trailblazers combined a pair of high-leverage freshman performances on the mound with timely hitting to sweep the season series from the Bengals.

The story of the game was the freshman duo of Brett Farrell and Josiah Lavea-Aldridge. Farrell opened the game with three hitless innings, striking out two, before turning the ball over to Lavea-Aldridge. Offensively, junior Aiden Farrell led the charge with a 3-for-4 day and an RBI, continuing a season where he has been a consistent table-setter. Bonanza was anchored by Dillon Owens, who collected a hit and reached base twice, and Darren McGee, who added a hit and remains one of the state's leaders in batting average.

Basic Academy extended its winning streak with a gritty 4-3 home victory over Foothill on Monday. In a contest dominated by the pitching staff, the Wolves capitalized on a late-inning power surge to outlast the Falcons.

The story of the game was senior Lincoln Evans, who delivered a high-octane performance on the hill. Evans carved through the Foothill lineup, striking out 11 batters over five dominant innings while surrendering just one unearned run. Offensively, senior Andruw Giles—a recent Prep Baseball "Player of the Week" honoree—provided the decisive blow with a two-run home run. Junior Dallon Cegavske remained perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double. Foothill was led by junior Quinthus Mason, who drove in two runs with a double, and James Durham, who maintained his position as one of the state's ERA leaders.

Bishop Gorman avenged their earlier loss to Faith Lutheran with a 7-5 victory on Wednesday, utilizing a explosive five-run fifth inning to secure the home win. The Gaels displayed defensive clinicality with zero errors while their pitching staff combined for nine strikeouts to hand the Crusaders a hard-fought defeat.

Junior Justin Rodrigues ignited the Gaels' attack with three hits and a stolen base. Freshman Ajay Hermosura led the offensive charge with two hits and three RBIs. Bradley Bell added a hit to the Gaels' total. Faith Lutheran was anchored by Rookie Shepard, who finished 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, and Macen Collura, who also cleared the fence and drove in three.
