Welcome to the WIAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

We obtain most of our scores by following teams on GameChanger and on X, as well as through websites like Bound and MaxPreps. Coaches are also able to submit their own team’s box scores to us via email at [email protected]. The Knights' offense supported the stellar pitching early, jumping out to a lead in the first before extending it with a three-run third inning highlighted by RBI singles from Cabral and Charlie Weiler. Dominican displayed extreme aggression on the base paths, amassing 10 stolen bases with Micharel Griesel, Levi Kolb, and Xavier Parlier each swiping multiple bags. Kingdom Prep Lutheran's Ivy took the loss despite a gritty effort, as the Knights' combination of nine hits and seven walks proved too much to overcome. Truman McGee managed the lone hit for the Wolves, who were unable to solve Cabral's command throughout the contest.

Despite outhitting their opponents seven to five, the Kingsford Flivvers suffered a 10-0 shutout loss to Escanaba. Escanaba broke the game open in the fourth inning, capitalizing on a combination of walks, hit batsmen, and an error to plate a staggering ten runs. Lennox Peacock earned the win for Escanaba, striking out seven and surrendering zero runs over five innings while also contributing two hits and two RBIs at the plate. Jonah Doenier and Jack Spreen each tallied two hits for Kingsford, but the Flivvers were unable to push any runs across against Peacock’s command. Escanaba's disciplined approach yielded eight walks and five stolen bases, ensuring they made the most of their scoring opportunities.

Grafton overcame a five-run deficit to defeat the Hartford Orioles 7-6 in a dramatic walk-off victory. The game was tied in the bottom of the seventh when Zach Plier delivered a clutch double to center field to drive in the winning run. Hartford built an early lead behind a home run from Aidan Kolb, but Grafton stormed back with a five-run fourth inning highlighted by doubles from Ryan Butts and Peyton McKinney. Sam Benter earned the win in relief, holding the Orioles to just one run over four innings of work. Despite a three-hit performance from Hartford's leadoff hitter Kolb, the Orioles were unable to hold off the late-inning surge by the error-free Black Hawks.

Trentin Morrison earned the win, striking out eight over five innings before Garret Kildahl provided relief to stifle a late Park rally. The Panthers were led by Gavin Danielson, who tripled, doubled, and drove in two runs, and Cristian Torres, who finished 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.
