South Milwaukee Rising Stars ID: Quick Hits & Statistical Analysis

On April 22nd, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff hosted the South Milwaukee Rising Stars ID at Hitters Baseball in Caledonia, WI. Nearly 15 players participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff.

QUICK HITS
C/INF Chris Worrell Jr. (Oak Creek, 2030) was one of the top players on last year's Team Wisconsin spuad at the Junior Future Games. Showed up a more physical/tooled up version at 6-foot, 180-pounds and was a standout across the day. Started that day running a 7.20 60-yard dash before taking a loud and standout round of BP reaching advanced average and max exits on the day at 86.7 mph and 95 mph respectively. Looked the part both behind the plate and in the infield, playing with athletic and natural actions at each spot with arm strength while recording pops at 1.90-1.97.
OF Tyler Kelenic (Catholic Memorial, 2030) stands out physically at 6-foot, 170-pounds with more room for added strength. Started the day running a 7.50 60-yard dash and took a standout round of batting practice from the left-side flashing easy strength and reaching a max exit velocity of 90 mph throughout the round. Defensively in the outfield playing with smooth and athletic actions with arm strength up to 83 mph.
