In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

The Hudson Raiders Varsity showcased their immense power this past Saturday, launching a barrage of home runs to sweep a doubleheader against Madison Memorial and Madison West.
Jace Mataczynski put on an offensive clinic against Madison Memorial, blasting two home runs and a triple to finish with a staggering five RBIs. The Raiders' power was relentless from start to finish, with Mark Susa and Sam Abrahamson also clearing the fences to provide plenty of cushion for a dominant pitching staff. On the mound, Myles Howe set the tone by scattering four hits over nearly seven scoreless innings, while Amory Thanos stepped in to finalize the combined shutout. Despite Madison Memorial's efforts to keep pace, the Raiders' ability to drive the ball out of the park and their disciplined approach at the plate—highlighted by Logan Hagman’s three walks—proved to be an insurmountable combination.
In a much tighter contest against the Regents, Hudson relied on an early long-ball surge and late-inning composure to secure the victory. Mataczynski, Hagman, and Sam Manchester each went deep in the first four innings, but Madison West refused to go quietly, utilizing a three-run fourth to knot the score.
