Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

Champlin Park’s Evan Nordby delivered one of the most dominant outings of the week, rising to the occasion against top-ranked competition. The Minnesota State-Mankato commit spun a complete game against No. 5 Andover, allowing just four hits and one earned run while striking out 11 with no walks over seven innings. Nordby has been a steady force on the mound and a clear choice for Week 3 Pitcher of the Week.
