It's PBKC's Arrowhead Shootout weekend for 2026! This event features nearly 150 teams across 13 Divisions between the ages of 10-14 all battling to take home a banner. The Shootout will take place across 4 venues in PBKC's Creekside and Homefield complexes as well as Mid America Sports Complex and the University of Saint Mary. As we come down the home stretch this spring the team's have had time to come together and gel and its shown with a better and better product on the field across the board each weekend.

Let's get a peek at last year's Arrowhead Shootout Winners:

- 14u D1: KC Crush Black with a +16 run differential over the three bracket play games to secure the title.

- 14u D2: Mile High Mammoth claimed the title with a +20 run differential over the weekend.

- 14u D3: 5Tool Sports Redemption came down from South Dakota to bring a title back home.

As we look forward to the 2026 Arrowhead Shootout, let's take a look at some of the top teams deciding to take their talents into the complexes this weekend, as well as some teams making the long haul looking to go home happy.

14u

Prime 27:17 - Black is no stranger to winning this year in the PBKC arena with 3 championships already under their belt this Spring. Look for Prime to play clean baseball and ride a run producing offense featuring AJ Gutierrez, Chaseton Brown, Creighton Lutt, and JJ Lundell into another run deep into Sunday this weekend.

Inside Edge - Asher has already made some deep runs this Spring as they hunt for their first title in the Shootout look for players like Hudson Findlay and Eli McDaniel to propel this team into another long weekend at the ballpark.

SPY-Wolfpack - Egelston takes the leap into D1 this weekend with a high powered offense that I have no doubt will compete at the major level, names to watch in the lineup include Asher Ledford, Julius Walston and Roman Mortallaro who can all impact the game on both sides of the ball.

Engaged Athletics - Black is back after a weekend off fresh off a Super Select Championship, look for EA to be right back into the action playing winning baseball.

Prodigy Express is still hunting it's first title in the D2 bracket this spring and this weekend proves as good as any for the 7-2 Express to get over the final hump.

Minnesota Herd hail from Burnsville, MN and are looking to show us what their made of bringing 2 squads in the 14u out to come fight for a title.

Omaha Crush is taking the trip down from Nebraska to chase a championship this weekend in their first PBKC apperance of the year

The Regulators of Papillion, Nebraska are also making the trip from the Cornhusker state in their first trip to a PBKC tournament of the year.

Prospects - Duddleston is a group out of Cave Springs, Arkansas who I'm sure didn't plan on coming all the way out to Kansas City to do anything less than impress.

Last but certainly not least in the 14u ranks making the trip is the Sanford 14u squad hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the first time this year making the 3rd weekend in a row a team from the Rushmore State has decided to come compete with us down in Kansas City.

13u & Below

Driving Force Baseball - Matthess is representing Harrison, Arkansas looking to come compete for a title in the 13u Major division along with the Suburban Blue Sox of Omaha, Nebraska.

Gators 13u - Eisen Hails from Wood River, Illinois as the lone squad representing the prarie state in the 13u AAA division, followed by the Omaha Suburban Stampede of Nebraska also making the trip.

The 12u Major Pools are carrying 2 Nebraska native teams in the Arrowhead Shootout in the Nebraska Prospects - Wellwood and the Gretna Thunder - Gold as well as the 3T's Gold squad representing Elkhart, Iowa.

The 11u AAA Division is carrying 5 teams outside of the MOKAN area with Canes Iowa - Fern and Iowa Energy representing the state of Iowa along with Gretna Thunder - Black, Millard Elite, and the Omaha Tigers representing the state of Nebraska.

In 10u, the Omaha Pacesetters are the lone squad making the haul to PBKC from outside of MOKAN looking to bring a banner back to Nebraska.
