NOTES
+ After dropping their first game of the season to White Bear Lake earlier in the week, No. 1 Mounds View got another crack and made it count. The Mustangs controlled this one from the start, scoring in five of six innings in a 10-1 win. Nearly the entire lineup contributed. Jack Tretter (2026, 3B, St. Mary's) led the way, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. RJ Madison (2027, OF, Uncommitted) added a 2-for-3 day with an RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs scored, while Jack Glancey (2026, OF, UW-La Crosse) left the yard and scored twice. On the mound, Jayson Cook (2026, RHP, Uncommitted) gave them five strong innings, allowing one run while striking out six. Mounds View moves to 10-1.
+ In a marquee South Suburban matchup, No. 2 Farmington went on the road and took down No. 5 Shakopee. Both teams collected 10 hits, but Farmington created separation with extra-base damage. Benjamin Fenske (2026, OF, UW-La Crosse) and Ty Beck (2027, OF, Uncommitted) each hit solo home runs, and six different Tigers drove in runs. Grady Renwick (2026, IF, Southwest Minnesota State) delivered the key swing, a two-run double in the fourth that pushed Farmington in front. For Shakopee, Logan Krosch (2026, IF, St. John’s) and Cooper Lenz (2027, IF/RHP, Uncommitted) each went 2-for-3, with Krosch adding a double. Farmington improves to 10-1, while Shakopee drops to 9-2.

+ Minnetonka extended its winning streak to four with an 11-0 win over Hopkins. The Skippers’ offense was steady throughout. Garrett Wheeler (2026, SS, New Mexico State) went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs scored, while Carter Storts (2026, OF, Augustana) added two hits, two runs, and two RBI. Luke Wrangle (2027, OF, Uncommitted) ended it in the sixth with a three-run home run to trigger the run rule. On the mound, Joe Brophy (2026, RHP, Uncommitted) and Ricky Hillard (2027, RHP, Uncommitted) combined on a two-hit shutout. Minnetonka is now 7-3.
+ Mahtomedi and Two Rivers met again in another Top 10 matchup, and once again it was the Zephyrs finding a way late. In a game headlined by frontline arms Connor Finn (2026, LHP, Texas Tech) and Will Denenholz (2027, LHP, Wright State), Mahtomedi trailed 3-2 in the sixth before Finn came around to score on a wild pitch to tie it. In extras, Peyton Whitbeck (2026, C, Concordia-Moorhead) delivered the deciding swing, a two-out, two-run home run in the eighth. Mahtomedi moves to 10-1, while Two Rivers drops to 7-2, both losses coming to the Zephyrs.

+ No. 10 Rosemount broke things open with a 10-run fourth inning in a win over Apple Valley. Jake Michel (2027, IF, Oregon) and Colin Blume (2028, OF, Uncommitted) each homered in the frame. Michel finished 2-for-2 with a double, a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored, while Blume matched him with a 2-for-2 day that included a home run, two RBI, and two runs. Rosemount improves to 9-2.
