NOTABLE RECAPS FROM MONDAY

Emery (14) vs. Parowan (3)

The Emery Spartans turned the basepaths into a private track meet, swiping 12 bases to overwhelm the Parowan Rams in a dominant 14–3 victory. The Spartans' offensive explosion was spearheaded by Ben Johansen, who turned in a stellar four-hit performance, while Garrett Conover provided the heavy lifting with four RBIs on two doubles and a pair of sacrifice flies. Parowan struggled to find an answer for Emery’s relentless pressure, as the Rams' pitching staff combined to surrender 13 free passes via walks and hit batsmen. While Hunter Bettridge and Jackson Tuttle provided some resistance for the Rams with multi-hit afternoons, the Spartans remained in total control behind a steady start from Tyce Larsen and a lights-out final frame from Peyton Nielson, who struck out the side to punctuate the lopsided win.
