Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '26 RHP Jakoby Goss (Tillamook).

Jakoby Goss SS / RHP / Tillamook High School, OR / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 96 / POS: 15 The senior had a huge week on the mound, throwing 7 no-hit frames while striking out 17 hitters. Goss allowed 0 runs and walked 2, dominating beginning to end on the mound. Goss was most recently seen at at the Prospect U Scout Day this winter.
