This week’s offensive Player of the Week award goes to 2026 SS/RHP Rowen Burton out of North Bullitt High School. The Bellarmine commit led the charge for an Eagles squad that caught fire in a big way last week, winning five games while outscoring opponents 51-4 and vaulting into the Top 25 Power Rankings. Burton was the centerpiece of the offensive explosion, turning in a dominant week at the plate by going 10-for-14 (.714) with 8 runs scored and 14 RBI. He racked up 20 total bases with six extra-base hits, including four doubles and a pair of home runs, while also drawing two walks and stealing six bases. The physical two-way standout has been just as impressive over the course of the season, now leading North Bullitt in hits (36), RBI (35), and extra-base hits, while tying for the team lead in runs scored (36). He’s added 15 walks and 25 stolen bases, and has remarkably struck out just once in 73 at-bats. With the Eagles riding a six-game winning streak into a marquee matchup with Bullitt East, Burton will look to keep the momentum rolling as North Bullitt eyes a deep postseason run in the 6th Region. Congratulations to Rowen Burton on being named the Prep Baseball KY Player of the Week!
