Welcome to the KSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Kansas staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Maize relied on a dominant pitching performance from Quincy Koehn to shut out Derby 3-0, with Koehn racking up 11 strikeouts and allowing only two hits over seven innings. Parker Meirowsky fueled the offense with a three-hit day to support the shutout, while Hunter Jennings and Ryder Zimmerman each drove in key runs. Despite the loss, Derby pitcher Rowan Foster delivered a strong outing of his own, striking out seven batters and yielding only one earned run across six-plus innings.

Mill Valley cruised to a 10-0 shutout victory over Sumner, powered by a combined no-hitter from Mike Fitzpatrick and Kamden Dick, who teamed up for 11 strikeouts. The offense was highlighted by a three-run home run from Beau Peterson and multi-hit efforts from Fitzpatrick and Dick to secure the early lead. While the Sumner bats were silenced, Darian Lunn showed resilience on the mound by pitching deep into the sixth inning against a potent lineup.

Manhattan dominated Topeka in a 10-0 shutout, fueled by a massive nine-run second inning and a combined three-hit shutout from Brayson Gnirk and Liam Nider. McLain Aslin anchored the bottom of the order with two hits and three RBIs, while Gnirk earned the win on the mound with six strikeouts over four clean innings. Despite the lopsided score, Topeka saw base hits from Elisha Guest, Zane Smith, and Malaki Corona to break up the no-hit bid.

H J. Goos: 3-4, 3 R, 3 RBI, SB

Manhattan exploded for 13 runs in the opening frame to secure a dominant 20-0 victory over Topeka, led by a perfect 3-for-4 afternoon from Jackson Goos. Goos and Maddox Hodges each drove in three runs as part of a 15-hit barrage, while Carter Goodpasture set the tone on the mound with five strikeouts in two innings of work.
