ST. THOMAS AQUINAS (KS) VS. FAYETTEVILLE

Grant Alderson, RHP, Fayetteville, 2027
After nearly a year away from the mound due to injury, Alderson was back out there and competed again. He threw a scoreless inning, staying focused and working through batters with confidence. His fastball reached 89, giving him a big boost and showing his arm was back and getting into rhythm again. It was only the first step, but it felt like a huge onef for the young pitcher.
