Centennial 5, Palo Verde 1
Centennial utilized a dominant complete-game performance on the mound and clinical situational hitting to defeat Palo Verde 5-1 on Friday. The Bulldogs’ defense remained flawless throughout the contest, securing a definitive home victory in the Class 5A Southern Region tournament.

The story of the game was senior Dominic Tiberi, a Cochise College commit, who produced a masterpiece for the Bulldogs. Tiberi tossed a 7-inning complete game, surrendering just one run on eight hits while racking up five strikeouts to earn the win. Offensively, Centennial set the tone early with Aiden Keehan providing a spark with an RBI single and a walk, while junior Trevor Henson—one of the top 2027 catchers in Nevada—added a key RBI double. Senior Chase Hurley led the lineup with two hits, and senior Kane Barber (CSN commit) contributed an RBI in the win. Palo Verde was led by senior Kyle Johnson, who launched a solo home run to right field for the Panthers' lone run, while Owen Anderson tallied a team-high two hits in the loss.

Bishop Manogue 10, Galena 0 (6 Innings)
Bishop Manogue utilized a relentless seven-run first inning to overpower Galena 10-0 on Friday. The Miners’ offense ignited early, racking up 14 hits to secure the home victory and advance in the postseason tournament.

The story of the game was senior Wade Huntsman, who produced a masterpiece for the Miners. Huntsman tossed six scoreless innings, surrendering just two hits while striking out six to earn the win. Offensively, Guy Brunetti led the charge with a game-high three hits, while Keenan Dolan and Cinco Guillen each drove in two runs. Aidan Cruz and Demari Stacker also contributed multiple hits to the potent attack. Galena was led by Nathan Cordell and Mathew Slamowitz, who each recorded a hit in the loss.

Palo Verde utilized a powerful late-inning offensive display to overcome an early five-run deficit and defeat Arbor View 12-5 on Friday at Durango High School. The Panthers scored twelve unanswered runs, including back-to-back five-run frames, to secure the comeback victory in the Class 5A Southern Region tournament.

The story of the game was Karsen Smaka, who produced a historic performance for the Panthers. Smaka launched two home runs—a three-run shot in the fifth and a grand slam in the sixth—to finish with a massive seven RBIs. On the mound, Payton Conley-Cimini earned the win, battling through 6.2 innings and racking up nine strikeouts while surrenderring only two earned runs. Stone Amsden and Owen Anderson each added three hits to the potent attack. Arbor View was led by senior Angelo Ugarte, who went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, and sophomore Hayden Eckert, who added a solo blast in the loss.

The story of the game was Aiden Talonen, who produced a masterpiece for the Grizzlies. Talonen tossed a 6.2-inning gem, surrendering just two runs on six hits while keeping the Huskies' hitters off-balance to earn the win. Offensively, Galena was sparked by Jayden Quintero, who led all hitters with a 3-for-4 performance. Dray Noble drove in a run with a first-inning single, while Memphis Venis and Mathew Slamowitz each added run-scoring knocks.
