No. 8 Whitefish Bay vs. No. 20 St. Joseph

Zach Rizzo, RHP/1B, St. Joseph, 2026
Wisconsin-Parkside signee. Currently ranked No. 55 in the state. 6-foot-5, 239-pound frame. One of the stronger right-handed hitters in the state with a power-oriented offensive profile. Started on the mound before moving to first base after exiting in the third inning, while hitting third in the order. Right-handed hitter with easy strength, working from a quick, direct path with feel to drive the ball in the air. Collected three hits in three at-bats, including two home runs and a double, driving in five runs while scoring twice and adding a stolen base. A senior follow with middle-of-the-order power traits.

Liam Gann-Dudgeon, 1B, Whitefish Bay, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 124 in the state. 5-foot-10, 201-pound frame with strength throughout. Batted in the lineup and played first base for Whitefish Bay. Right-handed hitter with a clean, simple swing that works on-plane with tight turns through the zone, showing a repeatable operation and feel to use the entire field. Continues to perform in front of staff with a steady offensive profile.

Max Egan, 3B/DH, Whitefish Bay, 2028
Currently ranked No. 24 in the state. 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame with strength and room for additional physical development. One of the top right-handed bats in the state’s class. Hit in the backend of the lineup and DH’d, going 1-for-2 with a triple, driving in a run while scoring twice. Right-handed hitter with a simple swing, showing easy strength and natural leverage with balance and feel to drive the ball in the air. A high-follow prospect in the sophomore class.

Charlie Hoven, LF/3B, Whitefish Bay, 2026
Uncommitted. 6-foot-0, 190-pound frame with athleticism and room for additional physical development. Hit fourth and started in left field before moving to third base later in the outing for Whitefish Bay. Right-handed hitter with a direct swing and feel to drive the ball the other way, flashing impact to the opposite-field gap. Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs scored, and a double. Defensively, showed a versatile and athletic profile with the ability to handle multiple spots across the diamond. An uncommitted senior follow.

No. 18 Madison Memorial vs. Janesville Craig

Malachi Schoonover, LHP, Janesville Craig, 2028
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 26 inside the state’s sophomore class, broke out as a left-hander to know follow the winter circuit; Standing at an athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame. Got the start on the mound for Craig, picked up the win after striking out six batters across four innings working efficiently through the first three innings before running into some trouble on the third time through the lineup. Feel to locate the fastball to both sides of the plate, sitting 83-86 mph with life out of the hand, confident to spin a bigger action breaking ball at 71-74 in and out of the zone. Also led off and went 2-for-5 with four stolen bases. A strike thrower from the left side with feel for two-pitches, high-follow left-hander in the state.

Asher Schoonover, OF Janesville Craig, 2027
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 175 in the state’s junior class standing at an athletic and trim 6-foot-1, 174-pound frame with room to add additional strength to the frame. Got the start in center and hit second for Craig, going 2-for-4 with a run and a double. At the plate the right-handed hitter swings a quick barrel flashing feel to drive the ball in the air with authority. Defensively looked the part in center field playing with athletic actions and range to either side, an arrow-up junior inside the state’s class.

Mike Sikich, 1B, Janesville Craig, 2027
Uncommitted. Physical and strong frame, got the start at first and hit third for Craig going 3-for-4 on the day with a double, RBI, and two runs scored. Strong and simple right-handed swing with easy bat speed and strength at the plate. The ball jumps off the barrel, feel to drive the ball through the middle of the field.

Ethan Eckel, INF, Madison Memorial, 2026
Uncommitted. Stands at a lean and wiry 5-foot-9, 153-pound frame with room for additional strength. Got the start at second and led off for Madison Memorial going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Clean right-handed swing flashing feel for the barrel and bat-to-ball traits that could continue to tick up with added strength and reps. Versatile defender in the infield showing steady actions at both second and later on at third with an accurate arm. An uncommitted senior to follow in the state.

Cam Sauer, C, Madison Memorial, 2026
Uncommitted. Stands at a strong 6-foot, 175-pounds with room for additional strength to the frame. Has been one of the hottest hitters in the lineup for Madison Memorial and got the start behind the plate and hit cleanup going 2-for-4 with a double. Direct swing with strength and feel to drive the ball to the pull side. Steady defender behind the plate with steady hands and flashed capable blocks. An unsigned senior to follow this spring.

No. 14 Arrowhead vs. No.7 Mukwonago

Niko Frangopoulos, OF, Arrowhead, 2026
Wisconsin-Whitewater commit. Currently ranked No. 56 in the state’s senior class. 5-foot-11, 183-pound, athletic frame with strength throughout. Batted second in the lineup and played left. The left-handed hitter was a bright spot for Arrowhead’s offense, roping a line-drive single to left-center for the team’s first hit of the game. He finished with a hit, a walk, and a stolen base. Frangopoulos works from a crouched, open base with a pre-pitch rhythm, showing a controlled, short stride with feel for the barrel and the ability to use the whole field. One of the top outfielders in the state’s senior class.

Tyler Smeiska, C/OF, Mukwonago, 2027
Currently ranked No. 30 in the state’s junior class. 5-foot-7, 166-pound, twitchy athlete. Batted leadoff and played center field. Smeiska provided a spark at the top of the order, finishing a perfect 2-for-2 with a double while reaching base in all four plate appearances, adding a walk and hit-by-pitch. He scored four runs and drove in one, impacting the game in multiple ways. He showed an aggressive approach at the plate and on the bases, with quick running ability, a short stride, and the ability to drive the ball to all fields. One of the top uncommitted juniors in the state.

Gavin Reilly, UTIL, Mukwonago, 2027
Currently ranked No. 84 in the state’s 2027 class. High-waisted 6-foot-2, 186-pound frame. Batted in the lineup for Mukwonago. Reilly was on the barrel throughout the game, showing the ability to drive the ball with power to the gaps, highlighted by a home run to deep right field that drove in two runs. A name that has been trending up throughout the season following an impressive winter, and an uncommitted name for schools to follow.

Ben Jones, RHP, Mukwonago, 2026
Wisconsin-Parkside commit. Currently ranked No. 60 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-2, 220-pound frame. Got the start on the mound against Arrowhead and turned in a dominant outing. Jones works with rhythm in his delivery, coiling over the back leg with controlled effort from a ¾ slot. He generated swing-and-miss throughout while minimizing hard contact. His fastball sat 85-87 mph, topping at 88 mph with 2200+ rpm and arm-side run. He paired it with a 73-75 mph curveball that showed tight, downer shape with the ability to land, and a 76-79 mph changeup with sharp action (2250+ rpm). Line: 6.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 11 K.

Monday, April 20th

No. 19 Marquette University vs. Brookfield Central

Damian Kosempa, RHP, Marquette University, 2026
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 16 in the state’s senior class, was also a recent winner at the inaugural Wisconsin Preseason Procase. Standing at a trim 6-foot-1, 196-pound frame. Got the start on the mound for Marquette tossing six innings, striking out 15 batters allowing one unearned run and walking four. Advanced three pitch mix, earning swing and miss on all three offerings throughout the outing. The fastball sat 89-92 mph early with life out of the hand, the slider projects as the best pitch moving forward thrown hard at 79-82 mph with sharp action. Will throw the breaking ball in any count, high-usage pitch and leans on it heavily. Flashed feel for a diving changeup at 80-82 mph with upside against both handed batters. Some of the top stuff in the class with a pair of advanced secondaries that project as potential putaway pitches at the next level.

Colton Semmelmann, LHP, Brookfield Central, 2026
South Carolina recruit. Currently ranked No. 5 in the state’s senior class, one of the top left-handers in the area with a starters ceiling. Standing at 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, got the start for Brookfield Central tossing four innings striking out six batters, giving up one run on five hits and a walk. Clean operation on the mound, flashing feel to repeat, three pitch mix the fastball sat 88-91 mph with life out of the hand and held velocity throughout the outing. Showed feel to spin a firm 78-80 mph slider with late bite and a fading changeup in the low-80s. Starters upside from the left-hander, high-follow MLB Draft arm as we progress through the spring.
