Moore Lions

Overall Record: 23-10
District Record: 14-0

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
SS Maverick Gardner (2026; Johnson County)
RHP/3B Cole Gossett (2026; Seminole State)
OF Ethan Workman (2026)
LHP/UTL Grady Glidden (2027)
OF Silas Foster (2026)
INF Braylon Henry (2026)
C Izzac Mia (2026; Coffeyville)

Coach Haddox and the Moore Lions went through district play unblemished, finishing with a perfect 12-0 mark in 6A-2 and earning the opportunity to host. Offensively, they have a combination of power and speed littered throughout their lineup like few others in the state along with an experienced core that has been calloused competing in 6A. Offensively, they pack a punch near the top of the lineup with seniors Ethan Workman and Maverick Gardner (Johnson County CC) showing the ability to churn out extra base hits and punish mistakes over the white. Junior David Miller has consistently hit at a high level out of the 2-hole as well and shown the discipline to work through the middle of the field. A combination of players in the middle, junior Grady Glidden along with seniors Braylon Henry and Silas Foster have also produced in bunches at times over the course of the year and appear primed to continue this postseason. On the mound, the Lions will rely on senior ace Cole Gossett (Seminole State) to help them advance to the state tourney. Consistently working into the upper 80s with sink, Gossett's heavy fastball pairs well with a swing and miss slider. Grady Glidden and Maverick Gardner have also been valuable on the bump and shown the ability to win on Monday and Tuesday. Moore won a number of close games throughout the year, often times going deep into extra innings, and their experience executing late in those games will be a valuable tool they can tap into to win when it matters most in May.

Edmond Santa Fe Wolves

Overall Record: 25-11
District Record: 10-4

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
2B Brady Morgeson (2026; Blinn JC)
INF/P Eli Parkhurst (2027; Oklahoma)
RHP/INF Josh Parkhurst (2026; Butler CC)
INF/RHP Camden Brumbaugh (2029)
OF Cole Britton (2026)
UTL Kike Anderson (2027)
C Zak Tucker (2026; Southern Nazarene)
INF/RHP Alec Arredondo (2029)

Coach Webb and the defending 6A Champion Edmond Santa Fe Wolves appear different on paper but have still produced quality baseball and are one of the more dangerous "non host" teams in the state. Early season, the biggest knock was their lack of experience at the varsity level due to so many seniors a season ago, but that is now an issue of the past with a full regular season under their belt. Under the tutelage of Coach Webb and his staff, we have seen the growth and development of young players as well as players that were unproven at the varsity level. They competed at a high level in the gauntlet that was 6A-1 to an impressive 10-4 mark - led by talented seniors Brady Morgeson (Blinn) and junior Eli Parkhurst (Oklahoma). Morgeson's hit tool has continued to consistently show up with the ability to drive the baseball to all fields and the ability to get on base and pressure opposing defenses. Parkhurst has taken another step as a valuable contributor to last season's title run, and has been a difference maker both at the plate and on the mound. The athletic, still lean framed right hander has run the fastball up 90+ with a swing and miss breaking ball to go along with XBH power to all fields while planted in the heart of the Santa Fe lineup. Senior Josh Parkhurst (Butler CC) has also continued to develop as a district starter on the bump, utilizing a steady mix, and ability to land each offering for a strike and keep opposing offenses off balance. To advance, players like senior Cole Britton, junior Kike Anderson, and senior backstop Zak Tucker will need to continue to contribute as they have all season on both sides of the ball. Last, freshmen Camden Brumbaugh and Alec Arredondo have contributed in big ways throughout the spring. Brumbaugh has been fearless against some of  6A's top arms showing the ability to produce offense consistently with Arredondo's athleticism showing up a number of times both at the dish and as an intriguing arm that will be needed on the bump. The Wolves are as dangerous as anyone as postseason play begins with a variety of ways to beat teams, experience with success in the postseason, and often underestimated the heart of a champion.

Norman Tigers

Overall Record: 11-17
District Record: 6-8

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Preston Baublit (2026)
1B/C Brody Hailey (2026)
SS/RHP Ethan Vinson (2026)
RHP/3B Caleb Adams (2026)
3B Casey Billingsley (2026; NOC Tonkawa)
OF Ashton Byrd (2027)
C Cooper Cunningham (2027)
RHP Ryan Barfield (2026)
INF Aiden Arrick (2027)
RHP Chase Watson (2028)

Coch Remillard and the Tigers enter the postseason as a gritty, compeitive group and on the shortlist of 3-seeds teams do not want to see. Despite their 6-8 mark in district play, 5 of those 8 losses were by 2 runs or less emphasizing the quality of play surpasses the W/L record. They have a slew of players that have experience this time of year and will be a key to make some noise in the Moore Regional. Offensively, seniors Preston Baublit and Casey Billingsley (NOC Tonkawa) have excelled at the top, athletic right handed hitters with present strength to drive the baeball to the alleys. Junior Ashton Byrd, along with physical senior Brody Hailey, have been counted on to drive in runs in the middle of the Tiger lineup and will need to continue to do so this week. On the mound, senior Caleb Adams has the ability to beat anyone and is a true ace of the staff, constantly changing speeds and keeping opposing lineups off balance. After Adams, Coach Remillard has utilized a combination of guys such as athletic SS/RHP Ethan Vinson, the aforementioned Billingsley, and emerging sophomores Jordy Bonilla and Chase Watson. The Tigers are as dangerous a 3-seed as we will find this postseason, a battle tested group that has experience playing close games, and have the look of a team ready to play spoiler in regional play.

US Grant Generals

Overall Record: 4-19
District Record: 0-14

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Israel Reyes (2029)
INF/RHP Miguel Garcia (2028)

Coach Corrnish and the US Grant Generals head into the postseason focused on growth, development, and gaining valuable experience against top-level competition. While the season has brought its share of challenges, the Generals have continued to show up and compete, laying the groundwork for future improvement. They are led by youth, and this year will give them a foundation for the next couple years. Though wins have been hard to come by, the Generals have shown flashes of potential in spots and are gaining the kind of experience that will benefit them moving forward. Freshman outfielder Israel Reyes has been a bright spot in the lineup, hitting .355 on the season and a .459 OBP. Another valuable piece for the Generals this spring has been sophomore infielder and right handed pitcher Miguel Garcia. The 2-way prospect has shown the ability to impact games on both sides of the ball with an eye popping .490 OBP and leads the team with 24.2 IP. The postseason presents an opportunity to compete with pride and continue to develop against high-level opponents. US Grant will look to finish the season with energy and effort, using this year’s lessons as a stepping stone toward building a stronger and more competitive program in the future.
