Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '27 LHP Ben Foglio (Clackamas).

Ben Foglio LHP / 1B / Clackamas, OR / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 16 / POS: 3 A highly skilled junior arm, Foglio went CG on the mound to win Pitcher of the Week for week 7 of Oregon high school action. The lefty went 7 innings, allowing 0 runs, 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 12 batters. The UW commit has been key for a Clackamas side that is the top-ranked team in our most recent Oregon Power 25 rankings.
