Coach Phillips and the Millers have been one of the most consistent teams in the stats since opening day two months ago. Through their steady play, they have also shown to be as well-rounded as any team in 6Awith depth on the mound and numerous players stepping up throughout the season. Offensively, they have both high-end talent as well as depth that can consistently execute at a high level. We have seen the emergence of Cade Geiger at the top of the order, consistently find his way on base and set the table for the talented middle of the order. Louisana Tech signee Eddie Fish in the 2-hole and the continued emergence of Drake Pace in the 3-Hole. Pace has been one of the top producers in the state offensively and churned out extra base hits in bunches. Further, numerous players have stepped up in big moments throughout the lineup with Zayden Khalil, Clayton Strange, and Wyatt Jones all making it tough on opposing offenses. On the mound, the success of district starters Brayden Trogdon (Youngstown State) and Gentry Hoke (Cowley County) have set the tone for the team week after week. They have attacked opposing lineups and worked deep into games, consistently. The depth on the mound, along with front-line talent, gives Yukon as good an opportunity as anyone to advance this week. As with any title hopes, the ability to pitch and play defense at a high level will ultimately be a deciding factor and Yukon has shown the ability to do that at a high level throughout the year.

Centerfielder Josiah Kemp (Oklahoma signee) can pressure defenses in a variety of ways whether it be through churning out extra base hits or the threat of the stolen base leading to pitching in the zone for 3, 4, or 5 in the order. Finally, Junior Titus Hawk, long levered multi-sport standout, has hit in the produced out of the 3rd spot throughout the season and continues to show his athleticism and ability to execute as part of the Yellowjacket team offense. The depth in the lineup and ability to execute has been paramount to their success and seniors like Tripp Enright and Logan Nei are a big part of that. On the mound, Broedy Taron has shown the ability to compete against anyone with athleticism showing up on the bump. Freshman left hander Jaxxon King continues to gain valuable experience with a true 3-pitch mix and the ability to create tough angles for opposing hitters. As a team, they are one of the top defensive teams in the state that will not beat themselves - paramount this time of year.
