REGIONAL ROUND WINNERS

(16) Mountain View

Game 1: 3-1 W
Game 2: 4-3 W

The Mountain View Bruins navigated the opening round of the 4A state tournament with clinical precision, protecting their home field in Orem to secure a decisive two-game sweep over Hurricane. The series began on Friday with a hard-fought 3-1 victory, a game defined by defensive discipline and a masterful performance on the mound by junior Noa Ioane, who stifled the Tigers' bats to keep the Bruins in control of the tempo. That momentum translated into a series-clinching win on Saturday, as Mountain View officially punched their ticket to the Super Regionals with a clinical 4-3 comeback. Starter Carson Tobler delivered a strong 6 inning outing, keeping the Tigers in check surrendering only 3 runs before handing the ball to Henry Tatton in the 7th. Henry punched out the side in the bottom of the 7th, but the Tigers found a way to load the bases and it came down to a 3-2 count with 2 outs situtation. Anchored by the veteran leadership of Caden Imes, the Bruins head into the next round as a well-rounded and confident unit and will need to play their best ball in order to upset the #1 seed Warriors.

(9) Dixie

Game 1: 11-5 W
Game 2: 9-5 W

The Dixie Flyers showcased their explosive offensive potential this weekend, sweeping their regional series against Murray with two high-scoring victories. The series opened on Friday with an 11-5 win, a game that remained tight until the Flyers erupted for a massive nine-run fifth inning to seize control. Senior standout Weston Gilmore was the primary catalyst for that victory, delivering a season-high four RBIs from a towering grand slam to spearhead the attack. Dixie maintained that pressure in Saturday's 9-5 series clincher, once again finding ways to manufacture runs and pull away late. Throughout the two-game sweep, Hudson Wright proved to be a consistent spark, contributing key extra-base hits and scoring four runs across the weekend, while Drake Kesterson provided critical stability on the mound with his sharp command. With the additional veteran presence of Jonny McGuire providing timely hitting, the Flyers have demonstrated the kind of offensive depth and tactical poise required to pose a significant threat as they travel north for the Super Regionals.

(21) Sky View

Game 1: 13-3 L
Game 2: 8-6 W
Game 3: 5-4 W

The Sky View Bobcats delivered the definitive statement of the Regional round, shocking the 4A Class by upsetting the #12 seed Green Canyon Wolves to secure their place in the Super Regionals. After a difficult 13–3 setback in Friday's series opener, the Bobcats demonstrated elite postseason resilience, sweeping a high-stakes Saturday doubleheader to punch their ticket. Sky View first forced a deciding third game with a gritty 8–6 victory on Saturday morning, before capping the historic upset with a heart-pounding 5–4 thriller in the finale. Senior Chance Christensen and junior Tucker Stokes provided the veteran engine for the Bobcats’ high-pressure attack, with Stokes’ elite speed and timely hitting consistently forcing the Wolves into defensive errors. The upset was further anchored by the clutch play of Rad Sparrow, whose ability to manufacture runs via extra-base power and aggressive baserunning proved vital in the one-run clincher, and the defensive stability of Andrew Dillinger, who stabilized the diamond during the pressure-packed final innings. By overcoming a double-digit loss to take two straight on the road, #21 seed Sky View heads into the next round as a real threat that has proven it can thrive under maximum pressure.

(13) Cedar

Game 1: 15-3 W
Game 2: 10-7 W

The Cedar Reds move into the Super Regional round with significant momentum after a clinical two-game sweep of Park City on their home turf. The series opened on Friday with a dominant 15-3 victory, a performance defined by an explosive offensive attack that saw the Reds post 15 runs on 11 hits to end the contest early. Cedar maintained their championship composure in Saturday’s series-clincher, overcoming an early deficit with a massive seven-run seventh inning to secure a 10-7 win and officially punch their ticket to the next round. Senior Danny Chairez was a massive factor in the deciding victory, setting a career-high with eight strikeouts on the mound while also contributing two hits and two runs at the plate. He was perfectly complemented by the clutch hitting of Payton Ludlow, who reached base in all four of his plate appearances and drove in two critical runs, and Ty Rowley, whose two-RBI performance helped fuel the Reds' late-game surge. By combining this resilient late-inning hitting with high-level pitching, Cedar heads into the next round as a dangerous, well-rounded unit that is clicking in all phases of the game.

(18) Stansbury

Game 1: 6-5 W
Game 2: 12-6 L
Game 3: 6-4 W

The Stansbury Stallions displayed elite postseason resilience this weekend in Vernal, overcoming a hostile road environment to upset the #15 seed Uintah Utes and advance to the Super Regionals. The series opened on Friday with a narrow 6-5 victory, a win defined by clinical hitting and a massive performance from Mack Simmons, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBIs. After a high-scoring setback in Saturday’s first game where they fell 12-6, the Stallions regained their championship composure for the winner-take-all finale later that afternoon, grinding out a gritty 6-4 victory to officially clinch the series. Throughout the pressure-packed weekend, Tyler Hadlock served as a vital offensive catalyst, contributing a 2-for-4 performance with two critical RBIs in the game one win, while Noah Nakken provided a spark in the middle of the order by reaching base consistently and driving in runs during the Saturday doubleheader. Stansbury heads into the next round as a battle-tested squad that has proven it can win on the road under pressure.

(10) Orem

Game 1: 18-3 W
Game 2: 4-3 L
Game 3: 11-4 W

The Orem Tigers successfully punched their ticket to the Super Regionals by navigating a competitive 2-1 series victory over Highland, showcasing a resilient "next man up" mentality that defines their #10 seed campaign. The Tigers opened the series on Friday with a statement 18–3 blowout, a performance headlined by the elite two-way dominance of junior Chase Ford, who fanned 10 batters on the mound while simultaneously going 2-for-3 with three RBIs at the plate. After a narrow 4–3 setback in Saturday’s first contest, Orem demonstrated championship-caliber composure in the winner-take-all finale, erupting for an 11–4 win to officially clinch the series. Throughout the weekend, senior Mac Christiansen was a primary engine for the offense, providing consistent run production with three RBIs in the opener, while Benji Engemann served as a steady catalyst with a 10-hit performance that kept the pressure on the Rams' defense out of the leadoff spot. By combining this high-octane offensive depth with the tactical adjustments needed to bounce back from a game-two loss, the Tigers head into their matchup with Crimson Cliffs as a battle-tested unit capable of scoring in bunches.

(11) Pine View

Game 1: 6-5 W
Game 2: 7-0 W

The Pine View Panthers advanced to the Super Regional round with a gritty performance in St. George, successfully defending their home turf to sweep the #22 seed East Leopards. The series opened on Friday with a dramatic 6–5 walk-off thriller, a game that saw the Panthers claw back to secure the win in the bottom of the seventh. Parker Heath was the hero of the opener, delivering the game-winning walk-off hit after reaching base in every plate appearance. He was supported by the power of Raiden Hunt, who launched a critical two-run home run to keep the Panthers in striking distance, and Cash Sisneros, whose disciplined eye led to three walks and two RBIs. Any drama was short-lived on Saturday, as Pine View transitioned to a dominant 7–0 shutout to officially clinch the series. Senior Tristen Sylvester was masterful in the finale, silencing the Leopards' bats with six strikeouts and zero earned runs over five innings while also contributing two hits at the plate. This balanced effort was rounded out by Porter Campbell, who mirrored Sylvester's two-way success with two runs, two RBIs, and two scoreless innings on the mound to seal the sweep. By combining late-game heroics with clinical shutout pitching, the Panthers head into the next round with the momentum required to challenge the top-tier seeds.

(14) Juan Diego Catholic

Game 1: 2-1 W
Game 2: 12-7 L
Game 3: 6-2 W

The Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle displayed impressive resilience this weekend, ultimately advancing with a hard-fought 2-1 series victory over a persistent first-year Deseret Peak program. The series opened on Friday with a classic pitcher's duel, where Juan Diego leaned on a enduring performance from senior Nash Crowther to edge out a 2-1 win; Crowther was dominant on the rubber, carving through the Golden Eagles for seven strikeouts and allowing zero earned runs over six innings of work. After a challenging Saturday morning where they fell 12-7 in Game 2, Juan Diego found their championship composure in the winner-take-all finale, securing a 6-2 victory to officially advance. Throughout the pressure-packed weekend, senior leader Lange Livonius was a critical presence, recording a clutch save in Game 1 and providing a steady offensive spark alongside Maddox LaHue, whose Game 1 double helped set the tone for the Soaring Eagle’s successful weekend. By combining strong top-of-the-rotation pitching with a relentless approach to bounce back from their Game 2 setback, Juan Diego Catholic heads into the Super Regionals with the veteran poise and momentum necessary to challenge for a spot at Gates Field.
