ILH D1 CHAMPION: KAMEHAMEHA KAPALAMA

The Kamehameha Warriors are your 2026 ILH Division I champions, finishing off PAC-5 with a decisive 5-1 victory at Central Oahu Regional Park on April 30th to claim the league crown. After splitting the first two games of the championship series with PAC-5 (Kamehameha taking Game 1 by a 4-1 score, PAC-5 answering with a 2-1 nail-biter in Game 2) the Warriors closed it out in style behind a balanced offensive attack and lockdown pitching to bring home the title.

Kamehameha put together a solid postseason run to capture the 2026 ILH Division I championship, beating PAC-5 5-1 in the deciding game after splitting the first two contests of the series.

The Warriors have talent distributed throughout the lineup. Coen Sardinha, Pono Kong, Bronson Boucher, Ryeder Takahashi, Kupono Barkdull, and Kaikea Patoc-Young all carry their weight in the order. What's notable is the depth. Guys like Noah Castillo stepping up as underclassmen with 5.0 IP in an elimination game shows this team isn't thin anywhere.

On the mound, Kamehameha's got arms. Kaikea and Pono Kong delivered quality innings when needed, Barkdull showed up in big spots, and Takahashi gave them a dependable closer type. That pitching depth was on display with only one run allowed in the final game.

The Warriors enter the HHSAA State Tournament with one of the most talented rosters, and have proven they can battle through adversity.
