Updated Illinois Power 25 Rankings

Another week of IHSA action is behind us, and there was a significant amount of movement in this update, along with two new teams making their debuts in the Power 25.
+ Our top three remain the same with No. 1 St. Laurence still holding down the No. 1 spot - finishing the week a perfect 4-0 with two wins over former No. 7 Mount Carmel (18-6, 5-4) and two wins over Loyola (11-5, 10-3). No. 2 Lincoln-Way East and No. 3 Normal Community round out the top-3, with East finishing 3-1 on the week and Community a perfect 4-0.
Rising
+ No. 4 Lockport (17-7): Rising one spot after a 3-0 week, the Porters saw some quality wins on the week over Lincoln-Way Central (5-1, 5-3) and Joliet West 10-3.
+ No. 5 Brother Rice (17-8): The Crusaders are also rising one spot, finishing this past week at a 4-0 clip. They saw wins over former No. 22 St. Rita (12-2, 9-2), and also swept Loyola (14-2, 9-7).
+ No. 6 Lane Tech (20-4): The Champions are riding a 19-game winning streak and are moving up two spots after a dominant 4-0 week. They saw wins over Lincoln Park (15-0, 4-1), Stevenson 8-0 and Lake View 14-0 - outscoring opponents an impressive 41-1 on the week.
+ No. 9 McHenry (21-3-1): Rising three spots, the Warriors went an impressive 6-0 over this past week. They saw wins over Johnsburg 13-2, Burlington Central (6-1, 6-0), Lake Zurich 4-3, Prairie Ridge 12-0 and Cary Grove 16-0 - boasting an impressive 57-6 runs scored to runs allowed differential.
+ No. 12 Mascoutah (20-2): Rising two spots after a 3-0 week, Mascoutah saw two dominant wins over Highland (7-0, 15-0), as well as an 11-10 win over Freeburg.
+ No. 14 Lincoln-Way West (16-4): The Warriors went 2-0 this past week and are jumping two spots as a result - seeing two wins over Bradley Bourbonnais (10-9, 12-0). They have a tough test this coming week with games against Andrew, No. 4 Lockport and No. 15 Lemont.
+ No. 15 Lemont (18-3): A 3-0 week has Lemont rising a couple spots, taking down Thornton 16-1 and 17-0, along with Hanover Central 3-0 to outscore opponents 36-1 on the week.
+ No. 16 Geneva (20-3): The Vikings are coming off a big 4-0 week with four quality wins - taking down Batavia twice (2-1, 7-6) and Lake Park (5-3, 10-6).
+ No. 21 Dunlap (19-4): The Eagles finished last week at a 2-0 clip with two wins over Canton (3-2, 14-0), rising two spots as a result. They will face Washington twice this week for a big conference series.
+ No. 22 Edwardsville (14-8): The Tigers had a strong 3-0 week and are rising three spots as a result - seeing wins over East Peoria 5-0 and Belleville East (6-1, 4-0) - helping them to a 7-1 record and outright lead in the Southwestern Conference.
Falling
+ No. 7 Huntley (19-4): The Red Raiders are falling two spots after a 2-2 week, losing a pair of close games to Prairie Ridge (6-5) and Jacobs (2-1). Their two wins came over York 8-5 and Ridge (9-0) to split the series.
+ No. 10 Mount Carmel (16-9): The Caravan are dropping three spots after going 2-2 on the week, seeing two wins over Fenwick (6-4, 13-3). They dropped two games to No. 1 St. Laurence 18-6 and 5-4, but they will have a chance to bounce back with five games on the schedule for this week.
+ No. 13 Triad (18-5): The Knights are falling three spots after going 3-1 on the week. They split with Waterloo, but saw wins over Sacred Heart Griffin 10-0 and Collinsville 5-2.
+ No. 17 Marquette (21-1): The Crusaders suffered their first loss of the year to St. Bede 6-1 and are falling four spots as a result. They did win two games on the week, one over St. Bede to split the series, and another against Henry-Senachwine 26-6.
+ No. 18 Lyons Township (16-6): The Lions are dropping three spots after a 2-2 week. Falling to York 4-3 and Downers Grove South 7-3. They did take the series from York however, beating them twice (7-2, 10-0).
+ No. 25 Nazareth Academy (18-6): The Roadrunners are just holding on in the final spot after a 3-2 week. They beat Joliet Catholic twice (3-2, 7-0) as well as Evergreen Park (17-12), but they fell twice to Niles Notre Dame on Saturday (8-7, 6-3).
New to the Power 25
+ No. 19 Minooka (18-4): Making their Power 25 debut after a 4-0 week, Minooka saw three strong wins over Plainfield North (9-0, 5-1, 6-5), as well as a 7-2 win over Wilmington. Currently on a six-game win streak, Minooka has also scored 151 runs to only 59 runs allowed on the year.
+ No. 24 Glenwood (17-3): The Titans are making their debut at No. 24 and they’ve been one of the more consistent teams in the state all year long - scoring 156 runs to only 53 allowed. They went 2-0 on the week with a 9-7 win over Rochester and an 11-1 win over Pawnee. They have a tough week ahead of them as they take on No. 20 Normal University later today, as well as Sacred Heart Griffin, Highland, Teutopolis and No. 22 Edwardsville.
