Arbor View 10, Durango 2
Arbor View utilized a relentless 14-hit attack and a massive six-run fifth inning to overpower Durango 10-2 on Monday. The Aggies showcased defensive precision with an error-free performance to secure the home victory and remain one of the hottest teams in Southern Nevada.
The story of the game was senior Angelo Ugarte, who fell just a home run short of the cycle. Ugarte finished 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, and two RBIs to spark the Aggie offense. Senior shortstop Devin Martin, a CSN commit, continued his tear at the plate, tallying three hits and a game-high three RBIs. On the mound, DD Davis earned the win, allowing only one earned run over 4.2 innings of work. Durango was led by senior Jon Turner, who went a perfect 3-for-3, and freshman Eron Galvan, who added two hits in the loss.
