ALA - Gilbert North secured a 4-2 win behind a balanced offensive attack and a complete game effort on the mound. Poulsen provided the big swing with a two run home run, while Webster and Dunn each drove in runs to build the lead. Maine went the distance, limiting Sahuarita to two runs while working through traffic in the last inning.

King and Hagerman led the offensive surge in the 2nd, each driving in two runs, while Yuriar and Murray added multi hit performances. Higgins earned the win on the mound, working five strong innings to keep the Knights in check.

Saguaro broke the game open with a nine run fourth inning to cruise to an 11-0 win over Douglas. Bratspis and Hansen led the offense with multi hit efforts, while Gomez and Faulkner each drove in two runs during the big inning. Dravecky set the tone on the mound with five shutout innings, allowing just two hits.
