Week 8 2026 WA Hitter of the Week - Anthony Karis

Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.
This week's Hitter of the Week is '26 Anthony Karis (Gonzaga Prep).

Anthony Karis OF / C / Gonzaga Prep, WA / 2026One of the top bats in Washington's senior class, Karis had a huge week en route to winning HOTW for week 8. The righty went 7-11 at the plate, slugging 2 home runs and a double. He also added 2 walks, 3 runs scored and 6 RBI in his huge week. The Future Games alum is the third ranked prospect in Washington's 2026 class. |
