Welcome to the KSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Kansas staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

We obtain most of our scores by following teams on GameChanger and on X. Coaches are also able to submit their own team’s box scores to us via email at [email protected]. Brody Cooper went the distance on the mound for the win, striking out seven and allowing only two runs over seven innings of work. Washburn Rural remained competitive with RBIs from Noah Johnson and Trent Gray.

Austin Mueller earned the win and Cayden Lindsay secured the save for Shawnee Heights, effectively managing a Washburn Rural lineup that out-hit them in the contest. Despite the loss, Washburn Rural saw a standout performance from Aidan Newbery, who finished the day with three hits and an RBI.

Bishop Carroll’s Jadan Hunter provided a bright spot in the loss by going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, while Jonah Mull added five strikeouts in his start.

Jaxton Smith provided Girard’s lone hit in the defensive duel, which saw Frontenac overcome an early deficit to claim the narrow victory.
