NOTABLE RECAPS FROM TUESDAY
#17 Bingham (7) vs. #9 Riverton (4)
The Bingham Miners successfully played spoiler at The Ballpark at American First Square, evening the series with Riverton in a hard-fought 7–4 victory. After being silenced earlier in the week, the Miners' offense woke up in a big way, headlined by a monster performance from Porter Larsen, who finished with both an inside the park home run and a triple, then closed the game out in the 7th. While Bingham’s defense made things a bit stressful with four errors, the pitching staff remained poised; Dax Bradford provided four solid innings to earn the win, and Daniel Norris fanned four in a strong relief appearance. Riverton’s McKade Ortiz and Bryce Mounteer did their best to jumpstart the Silverwolves with multiple hits, but the Miners’ 10-hit barrage and timely hitting proved too much to overcome as they even the series 1-1.

#23 Corner Canyon (4) vs. #13 Lehi (3)
The Corner Canyon Chargers managed to hang on for a gritty 4–3 win over the Lehi Pioneers in a high-stakes divisional matchup that came down to the final out. Corner Canyon was led by Garrett Downing, who was perfect at the plate with two hits and two RBIs to give the Chargers the cushion they needed. It wasn't the cleanest game on the mound for the Chargers, as relievers hit a staggering four batters in just under two innings of work, but showed enough heart to shut the door and earn the victory. Lehi made things interesting late behind a two-hit game from Dawson Brown and a pair of RBIs from Murphy Madsen, but they couldn't quite find the equalizer against a bend-but-don't-break Chargers staff. The series is now split 1-1 headed into a game 3 showdown at The Ballpark at America First Square on Thursday at 11am.

#20 Jordan (3) vs. #10 Lone Peak (5)
The Lone Peak Knights leaned on a high-strikeout masterclass from Grady Slesk to push past Jordan in a 5–3 victory. Slesk was the story of the day, fanning 12 Beetdiggers and pounding the zone with 83 strikes on 112 pitches to keep Jordan's bats quiet for most of the afternoon. The Knights didn't need a massive hit parade to get the job done; instead, they played efficient baseball, using sacrifice flies from Landon Fry and Bronx Chavira to manufacture enough run support to stay ahead. Jordan made things interesting late behind a triple from Kade Carter and two stolen bases by Joey Peak, but they couldn't overcome Slesk's dominance or the Knights' steady defense. Chase Gutierrez came on to record the final out, ensuring Lone Peak walked away with a gritty home win.

Brighton (2) vs. Alta (3)
The Alta Hawks ground out a gritty 3–2 victory over the Brighton Bengals in a classic Region 6 pitcher's duel where every base runner mattered. Alta managed to snatch the win despite being out-hit 5 to 3, largely thanks to a locked-in pitching staff that refused to break. Ian Alvey started things off with a solid 5.2 innings to earn the win, while McCoy Johnson came in and slammed the door, fanning three batters in relief to secure the save. Brighton’s Wilder Strong was excellent on the mound, tossing a complete game and allowing only one earned run while striking out six, but he didn't get enough support from a Bengals offense that struggled to find the gaps. Hayes Raulston provided a spark for Brighton with two hits, but the Hawks' opportunistic scoring proved to be just enough to walk away with the win.

Skyline (4) vs. Viewmont (0)
The Skyline Eagles rode a pitching masterclass from Mason Papadakis to a convincing 4–0 shutout victory over Viewmont. Papadakis was the undisputed star of the afternoon, tossing a complete-game gem and surrendering just a single hit while racking up seven strikeouts to keep the Viewmont bats completely neutralized. Skyline’s offense provided the necessary support early and often, paced by Cole Muse, who turned in a stellar three-hit performance with two RBIs. Mason Morgan was equally vital at the plate, finishing 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs of his own to help the Eagles pull away. While Viewmont struggled to generate any momentum against Papadakis' dominant mix, the Eagles’ consistent pressure and efficient situational hitting allowed them to coast to a comfortable Region 6 win at The Ballpark at American First Square.
