TREMONT VS. DEER CREEK-MACKINAW

By: Gavin Smith
Manager, Content & Operations/Area Scout

Griffin Meeker, SS Tremont, 2026
Heartland CC commit, ranked No. 108 in the state's senior class and set to make a rise in the next update. Stands in a 6-foot-2, 200-pound athletic frame with lean strength throughout. Started at shortstop and batted leadoff. Finished the day 1-for-4, with his lone hit a hard-hit ball to right field, also following up with a hard-hit ball to the pull side and two well-struck fly outs to center field. A right-handed hitter, Meeker displayed quick hands and bat speed through the zone with an all-fields approach at the plate. A three-sport athlete, translates to the diamond with clean footwork up the middle, range to both sides, confident hands and a quality arm across. A name to follow as he heads to Heartland CC.
