Today we are releasing our seventh update to the Virginia/DC Private School Top 10. Take a look at some notes on a few teams from inside the rankings.
- Paul VI stays in at the top spot in the Private School Top 10. The Panthers handled business last week with three wins, including a win in their first game of the WCAC playoffs. They continue their run in the WCAC playoffs with a three game series to start the week with Gonzaga. They are the early favorites as the number one seed and can continue to cement that number one spot with a WCAC championship.
- Covenant and Virginia Episcopal are two teams that are just on the outside looking in. Both teams had signature wins last week as Covenant defeated St. Anne's Belfield, and Virginia Episcopal defeated Highland. Those are big wins for both teams as they get to gear up for the playoffs.
- Norfolk Academy comes back into the top 10. They went 3-0 on the week and put together some quality wins. They put up seven or more runs in all three of their games. They had two key wins against Atlantic Shores and Maury. They are picking up momentum as the regular season is getting ready to come to a close.
- Along with our Power 25 on Mondays, we will update our Private School Top 10 every Wednesday.
