Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

The senior from La Salle Prep had a great outing on the mound to win POTW in week 8 of Oregon HS action. The righty spun a 7 inning no-hitter, allowing no runs in a dominant outing. O'Brien walked just one and struck out 13 batters. The senior is the 7th ranked RHP in Oregon's 2026 class. |
