Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

WEEK 5 | COLBE TAPPE, 2026, STAPLES-MOTLEY

Staples-Motley's Colbe Tappe quite literally committed murder on baseballs this past week. The St. Cloud State commit went 15/20 at the dish with 6 doubles and 3 homers driving in 19 runs. It really doesn't get much better than that.
