HOW THEY GOT HERE
Marlow was dominant for much of the year, winning their first 22 games against schools in Oklahoma before dropping back-to-back games to Sulphur and Davis for their only two in-state defeats on the year. The Outlaws ended the season atop their district with an 11-1 record, putting them in position to host in both regionals and areas, where they've cruised to a 5-0 record thus far in the postseason.

Wyatt Osborn: 2026, OF (Uncommitted)
Clint Ladon: 2027, MIF (Uncommitted)

Marlow finds themselves in a familiar spot as they return to the State Tournament once again after a runner-up finish last season. The Outlaws return the majority of the core of last year's team, led by Oklahoma State signee Hudson Morgan (2026). The senior has been a huge piece for Marlow this year as the ace of the staff as well as the leadoff hitter and everyday shortstop when he's not on the bump. The Outlaws' pitching depth has been strong as usual, with Landry Turpin (2029), Zimmer Offolter (2028) and Jaxson Murray (2027) all delivering big innings throughout the year alongside Morgan. That's not to discount the high-level production Marlow has gotten top-to-bottom from their talented lineup. The Outlaws' offense has tons of experience with upperclassmen like Morgan, Jackson Miller (2027) and Wyatt Osborn (2026) leading the charge at the top of the lineup. As they are most years, Marlow has the top-end talent and experience to make a deep run in the State Tournament, and have to be considered one of the favorites to be getting fitted for rings by the end of the week.

The Longhorns started off 2-0 in their regional before dropping the potential clincher to Kellyville. However they would secure their spot in the next round with a 4-1 victory in the "if necessary" game. They would then go on the road to Metro Christian for areas, where they would take game one 6-4 before falling on a walk off in game two. The Longhorns' offense caught fire in the deciding matchup, as they punched their ticket to the State Tournament with a 15-7 win.

Jones has proven to be a resiliant bunch, especially down the stretch, clinching both their regional and area wins in "If Necessary" win or go home matchups over Kellyville and Metro Christian. The Longhorns are led by a group of talented upperclassmen who will look to build on the experience they gained on the big stage last season. Jose Rojas (2026) and Jett Rogers (2027) have been the duo at the top of the rotation for Jones, and they'll be tasked with slowing down a talented Marlow lineup in round one.
