ROSTER PREVIEW

Jack Cahoon OF / RHP / Del Oro High, CA / 2030

Gianni Donati OF / 2B / Jesuit High School, CA / 2030

Donati is headed to Jesuit High School next year and is very talented. He primarily plays outfield and can hop in the infield if needed. To start his day off he ran a 6.94 60 yard dash, putting him at the event 2nd best. Donati has an advanced approach, during his rounds of BP, he scattered the field with base hits, and then showed off his pullside/middle pop. Donati moves well around the outfield, and his speed translates into the diamond. He’s a top of the lineup type guy, excited to see how he will start off his high school career.

Devin Hernandez 2B / SS / Liberty High, CA / 2030

From 5/10/25:

Positional Profile: 2B/SS
Body: 5-4, 102 pounds.
Hit: LHH. Tall, open stance with hands resting just above shoulder level and weight shifted into backside. Shifts weight further into backside during load, with slight toe tap for timing before aggressive stride forward and slight barrel tip. Stays short to ball, with solid bat speed that gets through the zone well. Hips and hands begin to go during stride forward. Gap-to-gap profile present with bat path that stays flat through the zone. Room to add power as frame fills out and with changes to lower half.
Power: 75 mph max exit velocity (67.7 avg.); 213-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 67.00 mph. Quick transfer and gets rid of the ball quick. Shorter arm path, with not much depth. Makes online throws across the INF with some carry. Should as arm strength as frame fills out.
Defense: Clean footwork with good body control. Moves well both laterally and downhill. Showcases soft hands and solid first step.
Athletic Testing: 8.62 runner in the 60-yard dash; 16.60-inch max vertical jump.

Ryder Metcalf 2B / SS / Roseville High, CA / 2030

Bodie Pierce C / 3B / Buchanan High, CA / 2030

Brandon Sweeney SS / 2B / St Francis High School, CA / 2030

Benjamin Wallace OF / RHP / Central Catholic High School, CA / 2030

Wallace had had an older brother come to some events over the course of the Fall and Pre Season, but this was Benjamin's first one and he opened up a lot of eyes. Athletically, Wallace is a kid that does it all right now, starting off with his 6.79 60 yard dash. He moved around in the outfield with ease, showcasing a strong arm at 83mph. He’s got some quick twitch like his older brother, he even hopped on the mound at the end of the workout, definitely an exciting young one to keep eyes on in the upcoming years.
