Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Hitter of the Week is '26 Jase Wong (Skyview).

WA HITTER OF THE WEEK (5/4-5/10)

Jase Wong SS / RHP / Skyview, WA / 2026 The senior from Skyview High School had a huge offensive set of games to win POTW in week 9 of Washington HS action. The righty finished the week 4-5, slugging 2 home runs and a double. He also added 4 runs and 5 RBI. Wong was seen in-game earlier this spring at the Prep Baseball sponsored PNW Kickoff Classic HS Tournament.
