2026 KSHSAA Player of the Week: Week 7

Andy Urban & Eliott Wilk
Prep Baseball Kansas Staff

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Prep Baseball KS Player of the Week. We will rely on submissions from high school coaches and others by way of email ([email protected]) or DM on X (twitter). Nominations should include player name, grad year, position, and stat line. The Kansas High School Player of the Week will be released every Tuesday afternoon. We will cover all players nominated for player of the week in our Diamond Notes article that comes out on Wednesdays.

Thank you to each high school coach who submitted a nomination for this week's awards.

Let's take a look at the Player of the Week for Week 7 (May 4th-May 10th):

Matthew Gravitt RHP / Blue Valley, KS / 2027

The Blue Valley right-hander was nearly flawless against conference rival Blue Valley Southwest, tossing a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Tigers to a 5-0 victory, finishing just a lone walk shy of a perfect game to take home this week's Player of the Week Honors.
