In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.
We obtain most of our scores by following teams on GameChanger, as well as through MaxPreps and Twitter. Coaches are also able to submit their own team’s box scores to us via email at [email protected], or through our IHSA Submitted Scores form, which they’re able to request by emailing our staff or by sending a us a DM over Twitter. Lucas Beaty (2027) drovve in a pair of runs and scored two runs of his own, going 1-for-3 on the day with a double. Andrew Nour (2026) and Luke Potts (2027) also collected a hit of their own and drove in two runs to help secure the win.

No. 3 Lincoln-Way East took down No. 4 Lockport in a thrilling finish, winning 9-8. Rocco Triolo (2027) saw the ball well and played the hero in this one, finishing the day 4-for-5 with a homer run, two RBIs, and two runs, including hitting the game winning single in the bottom of the seventh to secure the win. Evan Riiff (2027; Valparaiso) and Keegan Crabtree (2028) each had a multi-hit day at the plate, with each hitting a double and finishing 2-for-5 and 2-for-3 with an RBI, respectively.

RBI singles came from Gavin Stanislawski (2027) twice, Treylan Webster, and Dominick Vicari (2027) (two RBIs). Aidan Dillon (2027) pitched three innings and got the win while striking out two and giving up a run.

Drew Borkowski (2026; Heartland CC Commit) went 1-for-2 with a walk, a two-RBI single, and scored a run. Diego Herrera (2026; Parkland Commit) hit a pair of RBI singles in this contest. Sean Dabe (2027) tossed four innings and struck out six hitters to earn the win.

Nathaniel Blazo (2027) went 2-for-2 with a walk and two singles, including one that knocked in an RBI. Trevor Bacik (2027) tossed a 109-pitch complete game and struck out ten hitters while giving up three runs. For Libertyville, Madden Cotts (2027; Bradley Commit) had a 2-for-2 day with an RBI double and an RBI triple.

Crystal Lake Central took down No. 9 McHenry 6-5 for a victory against a top 10 ranked opponent in Illinois. The Tigers offense was led by Logan Laudadio (2027), who hit a three-run homer. Nick Kohlhase (2027) hit an RBI single in this contest. Both hits were part up a crooked number put up in a four-run fourth inning. Wade Ozment (2027; Illinois Commit) had a huge day with two singles, two walks, and an RBI. Owen Kelley (2027) hit the walk-off RBI double to win it for the Tigers. For McHenry, their key hits came from Jeffry Schwab (2026) with an RBI single, and Scotty Cole (2026; McHenry County JC Commit) with a two-RBI double. These hits were part of a four-run sixth inning that tied the game at five.

Kannon Seipp (2027; Jefferson JC( and Brody Hasquin (2027) also put together multi-hit games at the plate, with each also scoring two runs. Seipp finished with two RBIs and Hasquin collecting one of his own en route to the win. Pearce Goodfield got the start and put together three strong innings of work, allowing three hits, an earned run, and striking out three.

Alec Novotney (2026; Valparaiso Commit) got in on the long ball with a two-run home run. He also stole a base in this contest as well. Anthony Couch took the mound and fired a five-inning complete game one-hit shutout and struck out eight hitters while only giving up a walk.

Griffin Dobberstein (2027) finished the last three innings and struck out six hitters without allowing a run.
