Welcome to the MSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Missouri staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Liberty North’s offense was highlighted by Ben Highley, who provided a bright spot with a three-run home run to center field in the third inning.

Evan Arnold and Easton Redd paced the winning offense with three hits apiece, while Arnold, Levi Hilton, and Cade Hayter each drove in two runs. Bolivar's effort was led by Knox Wolhoy, who picked up two hits, and Evan Mortensen, who drove in a run and threw a scoreless frame on the mound.

Lee's Summit snuck past Staley in a 3-2 heartbreaker on Friday, sealed by a tie-breaking, sixth-inning RBI single from Jayden Wooster. The winning effort was also fueled by a solo home run from Kane Fredrickson and a scoreless inning of relief from pitcher Anthony Velazquez. Despite the narrow defeat, Staley was kept competitive by leadoff hitter Xander Paul, who collected two hits on the day, and Brandon Perkins, who drove in a run.

Ben Lackey earned the victory on the mound with four strikeouts over two innings, while Cade Gustafson spearheaded the offense with a two-hit performance. Webster Groves struggled to generate offense against the arms of Eureka, managing just three total hits on the day.

Max Williams earned the victory on the mound for Lafayette, which benefited from an 11-hit attack and a flawless defensive performance. Liberty's offense was paced by Garrett Nielsen, who went 1-for-2 and drove in his team's lone run of the day.
