2026 Power 25 Countdown: No. 6 Oak Ridge Wildcats

The Oak Ridge High baseball program finished the 2025 season going 36-9 and was put out by Clarksville in the state tournament. Coming into the spring with high aspirations as they return most of their 2025 squad. 

Leading the Wildcats into battle will be 2026 Vol commit RHP/INF Mikee Teasley who comes in as one of the best arms in the state with a fastball up to 94 MPH and offspeed that sits in the 2600 spin rate range. Mikee also swings a hot stick with legit power to both gaps and good speed, and will be counted on to return to the 3 hole and man third base for the Wildcats. 

Oak Ridge also has a trio of juniors returning that will make a big impact this spring. 2027 Kennesaw State commit C Parker Free has some rare traits as a catcher with good speed running a 7.3 60 and a high average guy that uses the entire field to get 

hits. Parker also has good pop that will only get more prevalent as he gets older. Behind the plate, Parker plays the position with a high motor and has a good pop time between 1.91-2.0. 2027 Youngstown State commit OF Warren East will be the leadoff hitter and centerfielder for the Wildcats. Warren is a blazer who runs a 6.5 and is a true tone setter at the top of the lineup where he is a hit machine. He also has some juice getting exit velocities in the upper 90s consistently. In the outfield, Warren covers the whole field and will definitely stick in centerfield at the next level. 2027 Vandy commit RHP Joseph Webb is a super athletic right-handed pitcher who has a fastball up to 95 MPH with legit offspeed pitches. Joseph will be part of what will be one of the best pitching duos in the state with Mikee Teasley. Joseph will also be a middle of the order hitter with good pop and blazing speed. 

Oak Ridge comes into the spring with not only the talent but the experience of being in the state tournament. The Wildcats will look to close the deal and try to bring the title to Oak Ridge.
