FROM MONDAY (2.23.26)

+ SOUTHAVEN VS. TUPELO CHRISTIAN PREP

Tupelo Christian Prep jumped out early and never looked back, rolling past Southaven 12–0 on Monday behind a 10-run first inning. The Eagles added two more in the second to put the game away early. Wamble earned the win with two scoreless innings, while Wilburn provided solid relief. Offensively, McDaniel led the way with three RBIs, and Bresee, Umfress, Cornelison, and McDaniel each recorded two hits as Tupelo Christian Prep totaled 10 hits and five stolen bases in the shutout victory.

+ COPIAH ACADEMY VS. AMITE SCHOOL CENTER

Copiah Academy rallied late to edge Amite School Center 6–5 on Monday, scoring the go-ahead runs in the seventh on a two-run single by Crechale. The Colonels built an early 3–0 lead before Amite tied the game and eventually went ahead 5–4. Falvey was key out of the bullpen for Copiah Academy, tossing 2 2/3 scoreless innings to keep them within striking distance. Crechale drove in two runs, while McDonnell led the offense with two hits as Copiah Academy completed the comeback win.

+ JACKSON ACADEMY VS. SIMPSON ACADEMY

Jackson Academy pulled away late to defeat Simpson Academy 10–5 on Monday, using a five-run stretch across the fifth and later innings to secure the win. Simpson Academy jumped out to an early lead, but the Raiders tied the game in the third and took it for good in the fifth on RBI singles from Davis and Haggard. Haggard earned the win in relief, allowing just one run over four innings. Offensively, Jackson Academy totaled 11 hits, led by Haggard and Rodden with two RBIs apiece, while the Raiders also pressured the defense with eight stolen bases.

+ Hattiesburg Home School vs. Sylva Bay Academy

Sylva Bay Academy pulled away late to secure an 8–3 win over Hattiesburg HomeSchool on Monday. The Saints broke a 3–3 tie in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run single from Brown and added insurance runs to put the game away. Walley earned the win on the mound, working five solid innings, while Bean slammed the door with two scoreless frames in relief. Offensively, Sylva Bay was aggressive on the bases with nine stolen bags, and Conerly and Walley each collected multiple hits in the victory.
