We continue our spring high school previews and projections with a look at 15 "Picks to Click" as we inch closer to the 2026 baseball season. Highlighted in these stories are players that we believe are in contention for "Player of the Year" or "Pitcher of the Year" and we will give a detailed analysis, including video on each. Without further ado, the next player we would like to highlight is Maryland commit Osiah Kelley from Sussex Central.

Osiah Kelley RHP / SS / Sussex Central, DE / 2026

The top player in the 2026 class looks to be back in full force this spring following an arm injury that sidelined the two-way throughout 2025. One of the more explosive talents that the Mid-Atlantic has seen in some time, baseball in Delaware is much better when Osiah Kelley is on the field, and look for big things coming out of the First State this spring.

A smooth left-handed stroke with anticipated increased power this spring, Kelley balances barrel feel, power upside, and intriguing hand speed at the dish with a keen ability to spray loud line drives to all fields. The swing looks better and stronger than ever, so look for a huge offensive outpouring in 2026. On the bump, the arm injury has backed up the progression over the offseason, however, look for Kelley to be back on the mound this spring featuring his low 90s fastball. A highly anticipated return for one of the more athletic two-ways in the area should put Kelley as the front-runner of Delaware Player of the Year this spring.
