Tennessee Preseason All-State: Underclass - Quick Hits
February 12, 2026
GALLATIN, TN — The Tennessee Preseason All-State: Underclass was held at the Liberty Creek HS Indoor Facility on Saturday, February 7th that featured some of the top talent in the 2028-2030 classes. Players went through a pro-style workout with TrackMan, Blast Motion, and VALD Performance tech, while pitchers threw in a bullpen setting and were able to get data and metrics on our TrackMan unit.
Some prospects built on past showings, while others made strong first impressions.
We kick off our post-event coverage with a look at some of the top performers from the event, with more breakdowns and full scouting reports coming soon.

QUICK HITS 📝
+ Isaiah Steward - Isaiah had a great day, highlighted by hitting 90 MPH INF velo in his defensive reps. His great speed (6.85-second 60-yard dash) and a serviceable bat make him a very valuable player to the Mt. Juliet Golden Bears.

+ Fisher Green - Fisher Green took a huge step in upping his numbers this weekend. Fisher hit 101 MPH max exit velo in BP, which is a huge jump from when we saw him last year. Shows a lot of future on the baseball diamond where his advanced athleticism and strength show dividends. Runs well for the size at 7.2 for his 60. + Brayden Greene - The former Junior Future Game participant is one we are really high on and the best is still out in front of him. Has pitched up his entire career and it shows in the confidence when he toes the rubber. Not in full game mode yet as he ramps up for the season and one that I am excited to get out and see. Sat 86-87 with late arm-side run and feel for living in the strikezone. The slider is a legit weapon with 20 inches of average horizontal movement at 2900-3000 RPM’s, an absolute unicorn of a pitch and one that should get him plenty of looks as he matures into his high school career.
+ Alex Potter - Potter is another former Junior Future Games participant and we got our last look at the up and coming right-handed arm this past November in Memphis at the West TN Fall Games. Shows some two-way upside as he carries a present hit tool that has shown up constantly in games and in BP. Didn’t throw in this look but flashed in the box where he finished with a max EV of 96 mph.

+ Jack Schmahl - Another sneaky favorite arm of mine is an Oakland product out of Murfreesboro, TN. The left-handed pitcher does a great job of attacking the strike zone consistently where he sat mid 80’s with late arm side run, while living in the lower quadrants of the zone. I love the secondary offerings and looks to be capable of commanding 4 offerings at the high school level and beyond.
