TWO-WAYS & PITCHERS

+ RHP Luke Bailey (Arapaho-Butler, 2027) was impressive in our first look at him at the OKC Preseason ID. A physical right hander, he stands at an imposing 6’2” and 239 pounds, and showcased a power mix to match. To start, he commanded the fastball at a high rate showing the ability to land it in all four quadrants with the potential to climb the ladder with 2K. As part of a 4-pitch mix, Bailey added a slider, curveball, and changeup. The slider showed the makings of a tunneled, advanced offering that can pitch off the fastball with nominal IVB and up to -18.5” of Horizontal Movement. Both the curveball and changeup give him another look against both right handed and left handed hitters with the changeup consistently being a pitch he can land in the zone. Further, the limited IVB along with up to 13.2” of HM on the changeup could also tunnel well off the fastball. Bailey is an exciting prospect with a work horse frame that has shown multiple ways to attack opposing hitters.

Luke Bailey

+ C/RHP Owen Blair (Yukon, 2027) flashed athleticism and steady development throughout his game at the OKC Preseason ID on 1/31. As the 2-way prospect continues to fill out a lean frame, he will continue working toward his best baseball that is still in front of him. At the ID event, Blair showed exciting athleticism, pacing the event in the vertical jump while also finishing with the third best 30 on the day. This athleticism also showed up behind the plate as he logged the top pop time. Offensively, the added strength shows up with comfort elevating to the pull side as he also drove balls back through the middle of the yard. To round out his day, Blair showed his versatility in a bullpen that included a 3-pitch mix and plenty of strikes. The low 80s fastball paired with a slider and changeup that he was able to land at will. Expect Blair to play a big role for a talented Yukon squad this spring, offering versatility for the Millers on the mound, but also a steady backstop that will handle the bat offensively.

Owen Blair

+ RHP Brady Foster (Sulphur, 2029) flashed big projection from a long and lean 6’1” and 155 pound frame. He fired a 3-pitch mix with advanced feel for the secondary offerings that you would expect to continue developing at a steady rate. To start, the right hander’s fastball showed the makings of a pitch that will have plenty of success staying off the barrel and pitching above the belt with an average of 22.3” IVB, but he was able to work it to all four quadrants throughout the bullpen. A potential difference maker for Foster was a low spin split finger that he was able to command just below the zone. He showed consistent feel for the pitch that will attack both RHH and LHH alike. The Sulphur product is a name to know as he continues to mature physically and continue developing with his best baseball still in front of him.

+ INF/RHP Jax Gordon (Edmond Santa Fe, 2026) showcased a balanced game as part of the OKC Preseason ID that included notching numerous personal bests. Offensively, he was efficient producing force, as noted with 16.1g Rotational Acceleration that produced a personal best 94 mph Exit Velo with an easy offensive move. He consistently drove balls from alley to alley showing extra base hit potential as well. On the mound, Gordon’s athleticism was evident as he showed the ability to land multiple secondary pitches that included a curveball and slider that he could manipulate. Both of the breaking balls were distinctly different and featured above average movement. The Edmond Santa Fe senior showed multiple ways to impact games and would be a very interesting addition to programs at the next level with his best baseball still in front of him.

The switch hitting backstop continues to showcase more comfort and athleticism at the plate with each side continuing to develop. He utilized a mature approach, driving balls through the middle of the field consistently. Behind the plate, the added strength showed up in his ability to work below the baseball with added arm strength up to 76 mph which paced the entire event along with a pop time as low as 2.01. On the mound, Harlow showed yet another way to impact games with the ability to land multiple pitches in the zone and working the fastball into the low 80s. The Plainview product continues to showcase steady development in all phases of his game with a balanced skillset and will be an exciting follow as we head toward the spring.

Defensively, we saw the arm strength play as well as Lingle was up to 88 mph across the diamond. On the bump, we saw him showcase a 3-pitch mix that he could land in the zone. The right handed hitting outfielder was consistent throughout with loud contact through the middle of the yard with a max exit velo of 92.5 mph and average of 87.5 mph. On the mound, he consistently worked the fastball to both sides of the dish and mixed a slider that he could land as well. With plenty of present strength and a physical 5’11” and 211 pounds, the Bridge Creek product is a name to know with the ability to impact games from the middle of the order.

+ INF/RHP Brody McLaren (Bethany, 2027) flashed a high level of consistency throughout his game at the OKC Preseason ID on 1/31. An athletic frame at 5’11” and 178 pounds, he notched numerous personal bests throughout the event. Offensively, the right handed hitting infielder was comfortable leaning on balls to the pull side as we have seen the same in-game success in the past. The most impressive part of his BP was the consistent loud contact, however, with a max exit vel of 93.8 mph and 87.8 mph average. His 2-way versatility then led to the mound where he leaned into a 3-pitch mix that attacked the strike zone. The Bethany product will be a big part of the their success in 2026 and will be an exciting follow throughout the spring.

+ C/RHP Asher Ryal (2030, Tuttle) showed his high upside and maturity throughout his game on 1/31 at the OKC Preseason ID. With athleticism from behind the dish, Ryal showcased advanced feet and above average arm as he was up to 74 mph from a crouch and a pop time as low as 2.05. Offensively, he had arguably the most mature BP round we saw through the day with a disciplined approach through the middle of the yard with a feel for whipping and delivering the barrel. On the mound, we saw a lot of the same with a mentality beyond his years and a clear understanding of how to utilize his mix. As often seen with catchers on the bump, the fastball showed high carry with up to 18.3” IVB while the secondary pitches were tunneled well. Both the curveball and changeup had minimal IVB that you’d expect to lead to plenty of swing and miss. A young prospect, Ryal will be an exciting follow as he still has plenty of time to develop but already a strong foundation to build on moving forward.

Asher Ryal

+ LHP Hilton Sallaska (Stillwater, 2028) was in total control throughout his pen at the OKC Preseason ID. The 3-pitch mix showed polish as he commanded each to the bottom portion of the zone. The fastball attacked the knees over the white and set up both of his secondary offerings. The changeup already has supporting metrics that would tunnel it with the fastball with limited IVB and a similar release height to the fastball. Sallaska showed advanced command with the changeup and looks to be the type of arm that would give a lineup fits with a consistent mix. To finish, he landed the curveball to round out a 3-pitch mix that can attack the zone. The Stillwater product will be an exciting follow as he put on display a mix that can put opposing offenses on their heels.

Defensively, he continues to develop with the strength showing up on the diamond as he was up to 87 mph from the outfield. On the mound, he showed pitchability and the ability to attack the zone with his entire 3-pitch mix. The mid 80s fastball was paired with a breaking ball and changeup. The breaking ball showed swing and miss characteristics with a higher release height than even the fastball and included low IVB and -10.1” HM. Strange will be in the middle of a talented Yukon squad this spring with the ability to impact games in the middle of the lineup as well as on the mound.

The right handed hitting outfielder consistently drove balls back through the middle of the field, but also showed a feel for backspinning balls to the pull side. With plenty of upside as a position player, York may have saved his best for when he got on the mound. The long and lean frame will continue to fill out, but he showed present ability to land multiple pitches in the zone. The breaking ball was released at the same height as the fastball and had a consistent shape. The Ponca City product should impact the varsity roster sooner rather than later and will be an exciting follow throughout his career.

The 2030 prospect flashed discipline throughout BP and drove balls the other way with authority. Despite the strong showing in the box, the most impressive portion of Fosdick’s day came on the infield with quiet feet, soft hands, and efficient routes to the baseball. He was comfortable playing with one hand outside his body and showcased arm strength to stay on the left side of the diamond as he threw with easy carry.
