2026 North Carolina ProCase Preview

The 9th edition of the North Carolina ProCase returns to Diamond Xtreme in Kernersville on Sunday, February 15, continuing one of the state’s premier pre-season pro scouting events.

The ProCase annually brings together 25–30 of the top junior and senior prospects in North Carolina, assembling a roster built by Prep Baseball’s scouting staff in conjunction with area professional scouts. The event is structured specifically for professional evaluation, giving MLB organizations an early look at the state’s top draft-eligible talent before the spring season begins.

Class of 2026 (Seniors – Draft Eligible)

Harrison Ailshie, OF — North Carolina
Advanced hit tool with consistent barrel feel on the biggest stages

Gunnar Alm, OF — NC State
Left handed bat that has been a riser on the prospect list after a big spring and summer season. Lots of interest in the potential middle of the field hitter.

Landon Church, SS — NC State
Big athlete with a ton of twtich. Versatile defender that could be a premium on the infield or in the outfield.

Logan D’Amico, RHP/OF — Wake Forest
Big arm has taken has continued to refine his stuff in the past year. Physical presence in the box.

Will Holden, C — Wake Forest
Complete catcher profile. Defensive consistency and leadership behind the plate paired with offensive production.

Chase Kiker, RHP/INF — Clemson
Power arm with present velocity and mound presence. Fastball traits and swing-and-miss potential draw pro attention. Potential two-way follow as the bat has drawn good reviews in the past year. Worked out as a dual at the Super60 two weeks ago.

Brady Marconi, C — College of Charleston
Strong-bodied catcher with arm strength and receiving skill. Big jumps in the past year with barrel feel and power potential. Offensive consistency will be key on draft boards.

Jaxon Matthews, OF — Clemson
Elite bat speed and strength through contact. Showed well at the Super60 two weeks ago.

Quinn O’Rourke, RHP — Arizona
High-end arm talent with pro-style delivery and command traits. Spring season will be heavily evaluated.

Nick Rumbley, RHP — North Carolina
Physical right-hander with power repertoire. Ability to attack the zone will be a focus early in the spring.

Dylan Stacks, RHP — UNC Greensboro
Strong frame and downhill plane. Competitive presence on the mound.

William Vetter, RHP — Virginia Tech
Clean arm action and a fastball / slider combination that can wipe hitters out. Continues to trend upward heading into senior year.

Max Wearing, 1B — Rutgers
Physical corner bat with leverage and strength. Offensive production will be the separator this spring.


Class of 2027 (Juniors – Early Draft Process)

Cole Bowman, C — Virginia Tech
Advanced bat with power production from both sides of the plate.

Brandon Bush, OF
Athletic outfield profile with speed and projection.

Beckett Denton, RHP — Appalachian State
Right-hander with arm strength and developing secondary pitch mix.

John Hucko, OF — Auburn
Dual potential. May be one of the top bats to follow in the country. Tooled out prospect.

Reggie Marshall III, SS — Louisville
High-end middle infield athlete. Defensive range and offensive upside make him one of the more intriguing juniors in attendance.

Griffin McKain, LHP — Clemson
Projectable left-hander with arm speed and feel for spin. Athleticism creates a ton of interest in his ceiling.

Will Parrish, RHP — NC State
Strong frame with clean mechanics and strike-throwing ability.

Kellen Rogers, SS — NC State
Advanced defensive shortstop with internal clock and offensive polish. Advanced ball to barrel ability that has translated on the national stage.

Banks Woody, C — UNC Wilmington
Physical catcher with an offensive approach that is intended to create damage with some ease.

Trevor Yancey, RHP — Pittsburgh
Projectable right-hander with velocity upside and high level spin.
