Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “This year's Marion Patriots team will rely on several returning pitchers that helped them reach the 2025 5A State Finals. The Patriots return 6 pitchers that saw action in the state tournament and state finals. In addition the Patriots return 6 position players. These returners alone will give the Patriots a much improved defensive to back up their pitching staff. The 2026 Marion Patriots will need to develop more defensive depth with several underclassmen.” – David Lara, head coach
