The 2026 high school baseball season is officially underway. Each week we will update our Power 25 HS Rankings with Risers, Fallers, and Newcomers to the rankings each week. We look forward to covering high school games this spring and hearing your feedback on who you think should be ranked where. Take a look at our Week 2 update.

Risers

#1 IMG Academy

IMG takes over the #1 spot heading into Week 2 after going 2-0 against two of the top teams in the country in Georgia. They took down Etowah 3-2 and Lowndes 5-1. The Ascenders match up with #3 Jesuit this week.

#8 Doral Academy

The Firebirds started their season off strong as they opened up with a 2-1 win over previously ranked #9 American Heritage. They finished off the week with two blowout wins, defeating South Broward 16-0 and Keys Gate 13-0.

#14 Bishop Snyder

Bishop Snyder started their season strong with a 2-0 week. They defeated Fernandina Beach on Opening Night 2-0. They finished the week with a ranked win over previously ranked #16 Lincoln 4-3.

#15 Jupiter

Jupiter moves up after a 3-0 start to the season that included taking down the #13 team in the state. Jupiter started their season beating Royal Palm Beach 12-6 and Master's Academy 17-8. They finished the week with a 5-4 win over previously ranked #13 St. Thomas Aquinas.

Fallers

#5 South Walton

Preseason #2 South Walton kicked off their season with an upset loss to Gulf Breeze 4-2 but got their revenge with a 6-2 win over the Dolphins later in the week. They finished the week beating Bozeman 3-1.

#6 Trinity Christian Academy

TCA started their 2026 season with a 1-1 record in Week 1. They opened up with a 4-2 win over Suwannee, but fell 2-0 to Creekside on Thursday.

NR St. Thomas Aquinas

After starting the year at #13, Aquinas falls out of the Power 25 after a 1-2 start to the season. An opening night lost to Neumann 6-5, followed by a 5-4 loss to Jupiter later in the week. Sandwiched in between those losses was a 9-6 win over Killian.

NR Lincoln

Lincoln was ranked #16 in the Preseason, and after going 1-2 to start the year, they fell outside the Power 25. They beat Wakulla 14-0 on opening night, but fell twice in their next two game,s losing to Arnold 3-2 and Bishop Snyder 4-3.

NR Buchholz

Buchholz started their season 1-2 in Week 1. An opening night loss to Chiles 4-3 was followed by a win over Columbia 7-1. They played Columbia again the next night and fell 2-1.

Newcomers

#19 Gulf Breeze

Gulf Breeze kicked off their season with a major upset win over previously ranked #2 South Walton and one of the top pitching prospects in the country.

#20 Bishop Moore

Bishop Moore took care of business in Week 1, going 3-0. They started their season with a blowout win over Oviedo 20-6. They then beat Windermere 8-2 and Lake Howell 7-0.

#21 Creekside

Creekside had a major upset in Week 1, taking down previously ranked #5 Trinity Christian Academy 2-0. Their other game in Week 1 was a close loss to #15 Spruce Creek.

#25 Columbus

Columbus started their season 3-0 in Week 1. They opened up with an 11-0 win over Florida Christian, followed by a 9-2 win over JC Bermudez and a 9-5 win over previously ranked #23 West Broward.
