February 17, 2026
TENNESSEE - We're excited to unveil our Power 25 countdown rankings around the state. Our Prep Baseball staff worked diligently at ranking these top 25 teams, while looking at their records, scores, and player performances over the previous season. These rankings will obviously continue to change as teams play more games as the season goes on. But for now, let's begin our countdown on our 2026 Power 25.
Today, we begin our countdown by looking at the No. 24 spot, which belongs to the Heritage Mountaineers.

POWER 25 COUNTDOWN: NO. 23 📊
GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY RAMS - KNOXVILLE
The Grace Christian Academy baseball program finished the 2025 season going 24-15 and getting put out by Clarksville Academy in the state semifinals. The future is extremely bright for the Rams as they have one of the most talented young teams in the state.
Grace Christian enters the spring as the biggest threat to Columbia Academy winning their fourth state championship in a row. The lineup for the Rams is loaded with young, talented hitters. They are led by Western Kentucky commit 2027 LHP/1B Treyson Derry who will return as the ace on the mound and anchor the top of the lineup for the Rams. Treyson is a complete player that can do anything on the baseball field, with a power bat that gets up to 100 MPH exit velocities and also can ramp it up to upper 80’s on the mound.
The 2028 class for Grace Christian is loaded with talent led by Hudson Burnett, Max Misenhimer and Benjamin Hamilton. Former Junior Future Game OF Hudson Burnett is the #5 player in the state of Tennessee and is a transfer from Halls High School. Hudson is a dynamic athlete that is a true centerfielder with 6.6 speed. At the plate, Hudson also possesses legit gap to gap power. He should also provide important innings on the mound. OF/C Benjamin Hamilton will return to the top of the order for the Rams where he hit as a freshman. Benjamin is a left-handed bat that shows potential to be a power bat with good athleticism to match. He also has the ability to not only play in the outfield but can also be an above average catcher. Former Junior Gamer C/INF Max Misenheimer will be a middle of the order bat and is one of the top defensive catchers in the state. As a freshman, Max showed his versatility by locking down third base, but he should get more time behind the plate. As a hitter, Max has great bat to ball skills and seems to keep everything on plane which should translate to a high average hitter.
The 2029 class is just as talented for the Rams with two of the best players in the state. OF Kannon Derry is the #2 player in the state of Tennessee. Kannon will return to the middle of the lineup where he hit as an 8th grader. He is a special player who is a left-handed bat who not only has real power but also athleticism. The ceiling is extremely high for this freshman. MIF Easton Housewright is the #3 player in the state of Tennessee. Easton is also a left-handed bat and has a real chance to stick at the shortstop position at the next level. As a hitter, Easton is a pure hitter with gap to gap power. Another freshman with a ceiling that is extremely high.
Grace Christian has the opportunity to be at the end of the state tournament for the foreseeable future with as much young talent as anyone in Tennessee.
