Oscar Leah OF / LHP / Langley Secondary School, BC / 2027Leah is coming off a strong 2025 campaign where he asserted himself as one of the premier two-ways in Canada. We saw Leah take the mound on several occasions over the 2025 season, and he continued to improve with each subsequent look. The fastball has been up to 90 in front of our staff with feel for his secondary offerings and quality movement patterns on the slope. The Junior National Team member is an advanced athlete and strong defender with a chance to stick in CF long term. The bat really started to trend up in the second half of the summer circuit and into the fall, including a big home run during the gold medal contest at the Canada Summer Games, where he hit .417 as a whole. Look for Leah to make noise on both sides of the ball next month in Ladner.

Carter Bestebroer OF / 1B / Unity Christian School, BC / 2026Bestebroer was a standout for Prep Baseball Canada National at the Senior Future Games in July, with several big hits including an opposite field homerun. In addition to gameplay success at Lakepoint, the Blaze outfielder put together a strong workout with max and average exit velocities of 99.3 and 93.1, respectively. The L/R outfielder has shown a consistent ability to hit for average with flashes of real power out of the 6-foot-1,185-pound frame. Bestebroer is looking for a JUCO and will be on full display in a few weeks time, with updated metrics and video to follow.

Jake Fehr RHP / Sands Secondary, BC / 2026One of the most consistent pitchers on the circuit two summers ago, Fehr is back on the board as a reclassified 2026 and looks to reassert himself as one of the premier uncommitted arms in Western Canada. Fehr is a dynamic mover down the mound with natural feel for spinning the baseball and a fastball that was into the low-90’s last winter. The slider has shown as a plus pitch in the past with up to 20 inches of horizontal movement at the 2024 Senior Future Games and quality in-game results to pair. The Delta product is one arm we are particularly excited to see at the Preseason Invitational, and will make for an excellent late pickup for a lot of schools.

Cole Dorland RHP / Walnut Grove, BC / 2026Another arm that we are looking forward to getting eyes on in 2026 is 6-foot-1,170-pound right-hander Cole Dorland. One of the biggest risers throughout 2025, Dorland showed a three-pitch mix, up to 91 in Toronto with more in the tank. One of the top uncommitted arms in BC, and also eligible as a 2027, Dorland will be in attendance in a few short weeks where our staff will provide updated evaluation, video, and data.

Daniel Dykema OF / Argyle Secondary, BC / 2026Dykema is an impact left-handed hitting outfielder currently committed to Cloud County Community College. The frame stands out at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds with impressive athleticism and coordination. In Toronto this past fall, Dykema ran a 6.8 60 yard dash and blistered balls in batting practice, with exit velocities reaching 105.6 mph. The Cloud County commit posseses advanced plate coverage and barrel control with an ability to use all fields. One of the premier prospects in BC's senior class, expect Dykema to make a loud statement at the Preseason Invitational.
